This time, I decided to stay a few days at the new Home collection lodging and the getaway was completely remarkable. I will make sure to come back more often in order to unplug and relax completely in this paradisiacal getaway.”

“Amazing place to get a bite. I’ve had Spud’s for a few years now. Their clam chowder is the best I’ve ever had. I live 2 hours away, but make sure I get down to bodega bay every few months. The location is awesome, parking can be not great if it’s the weekend and it’s busy. It’s also great they have specials and locally caught seafood. If you haven’t heard of Spud’s then I’m sorry for ya. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone.”

“Do not pass this place up if you drive through the area! The owner brought us a sample of her salmon chowder while we waited for our food. The chowder is absolutely AMAZING! She shared awesome conversation of how she came about her salmon chowder. Great, family style atmosphere! We can't wait to return!”

My wife ordered Pakodas and Samosas and I ordered their Chicken Curry Combo. We capped it off with their one of a kind Yam Halwa and Masala Chai.

Drinking the piping hot chai with shehnai playing in the background on a wintry day really transported me back to India.

Btw - Jay is not only a great cook, he is even a great singer, and treated me to a few lines from a golden oldie Bollywood song.

“Stopped by for some drinks before we hit the road. I liked my iced americano. The chai was nicely spiced but a bit watery. Service was fast. Unfortunately we were having trouble with service indoors and Venmo but luckily had cash.”
