The location is absolutely gorgeous — you can see the town of Julian from a little uphill, and the atmosphere is lovely. However, the service could definitely be improved. It was confusing where and how to order, and the wait for food was quite long. My pie was served without tea, and after waiting for a while, I eventually said I didn’t need it anymore. Considering how busy Julian usually is, I can understand delays, but I still think the service should be more organized....

Let me start with the positives: The food was amazing. I loved my burger, the soups were great, the house made potato chips and sweet potato fries were delicious.

Just a warning, this place has a sign on the door that says they struggle to seat parties of more than for. A very nice man informed us it would be about 25 minutes to sit. It was only 5, which we appreciated! Unfortunately, it was about 20 minutes before our server took our order. It was another 20...

Fantastic experience at this restaurant. Service is great with really observational staff and sense of humor. The eggs benedict was so good, with Hollaindaise sauce not being too heavy and good portion. I didn’t get to try their soups, but I imagine they would awesome as well.
