“his is my go to place to stop for lunch and drinks after a good hike or any time I'm making my way from Carson City to the San Joaquin Valley. In addition to being located in a historic saloon, they have really good brisket, burgers and have a host of other tasty dishes and sharables. Of course, being that this is an establishment to imbibe in, they do have a decent selection of beers, whiskeys and a myriad of specialty cocktails as well. While I prefer to sit at the bar if only because of how nice and log cabin cozy it feels, they do have a good amount of indoor seating but I should note, it's more suitable for groups no bigger than 4. That said, on a nice summer day, sitting out in the large outdoor patio is hard to pass up and it is more welcoming of larger groups. Prices of everything here is on the higher side but then, looking for a good deal on a meal is not why you should be stopping in. One last thing, plenty of parking can be found in the large dirt parking lot.“
