“This spot is definitely gorgeous for a coffee break. Awesome view and clearly a local student/staff favorite. They grilled our egg salad sandwich in the panini maker and the iced matcha latte was delicious. The crew here helpful And warm. Also very quick. I only wish there was more “bar style” seating for those who tend to linger for hours on their own instead of taking up a whole table. It’s been super crowded with no seating the last few months bc people tend to stay for hours working. Which I totally understand. But for a UCSD alum like me, I may just wanna sit for half an hour maybe an hour at most and often there is no seating. That’s my only suggestion. Add single person searing. But I’ll definitely be back and hope to come before a “rush”. The line can get very long. (I get it. I used to work in a cafe at the Price Center and it was crazy there). Also would Love if they stayed open later. One can only hope.“

“Recently opened in my nighhborhood. Surprisingly very delicious pizza (half chicken/half dry meat). It is now my favorite pizza already. Owners are friendly and service was pretty fast. I'll come back to try other stuff on the menu.“

⏱️ WAIT TIME: long line at 12:30 PM on a weekday — waited about 30 minutes to order, so probably not the best place for a quick bite during peak hours
🥣 CUSTOMIZATION: most people customize their acai bowls here by choosing their base, granola, fruit, nut butters, toppings, sweeteners, and powders
🫐 SELECTION: more options than most acai spots, lots of variety in every category!
🍓 ORDERING: assembly-line style — move down the counter while staff build your bowl in real time (you can see all of the ingredients through a glass display)
😊 STAFF: friendly!!

This is a most delicious and refreshing mix of fruit and grains and chocolate! There is a crunch with each bite and the fruit is so sweet and refreshing! My wife and I shared these two items and enjoyed the service provided by Eduardo & Nicole at the Oakberry Açaí store located in Pacific Beach at 959 Garnet Avenue, San Diego, California! We will be coming back for more of their delicious and healthy creations.

“AMAZING!! My husband and I went to San Diego for a quick getaway and wanted to try Chiefy Cafe based on the reviews. We were so glad we did as the coffee and food is Amazing! We ordered the Open Mind Fat Burner, Mexicano Latte, Acai Bowl, and Turkey Bacon Avocado Croissant. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious - we wanted to savor every bite!! The staff is so friendly and Camile customized the Turkey Bacon Avo without the bread for me, as I am gluten free. We only had 2 days left in SD and went back to Chiefy Cafe and ordered the same thing each day. Camile & Larissa assisted us and were awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHIEFY CAFE!!“

“So happy to have this place open up around the corner from my office. The service has been great and I love the menu, so far I've had the GF blt toast, the GF breakfast calzone, and the savory oatmeal, all delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Its a nice contrast to the typical coffee shop offerings. The remodel they did is very tasteful and cool, as well. Check em out!“

“This place is excellent! I probably eat here or order out at least once a month and have done so for the past 2 years. Their picanha steak is delicious and cooked perfectly every time! I usually order the coxhina and polenta to go along with it as well. Their french fries are also always fried to golden perfection too! Crispy and delicious 🤤. If you want some high quality and delicious food that doesnt break the bank then definitely come check them out. They're all really cool here too and when you're there they treat you like you've known them your whole life ❤“

“We have been looking for a place that served tasty Acai Bowls…Our favorite Acai bowl places either, closed down, burned down or changed the way they made their Acai bowls…We found Liquid Bean Café on the internet and decided to give it a try…Well, we both had the Acai bowls but I added an Egg Salad Sandwich pressed in a Panini press to our order…The Acai Bowls were fresh and totally delicious!!!…I really liked the Egg Salad Sandwich and loved the way it was pressed and toasted in the Panini press…We highly recommend Liquid Bean Café if you are ever in the Del Mar area…We will definitely be back again!!!…Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
