“We love this bar, been dining here for over 22 years. We've seen it change from the original twice in that time, the latest recently opening so we checked it out today. We ate lunch here and the positives were it was excellent food, good drinks and great service.
It was also our own private restaurant, we were the only diners which surprised us at first. But, once we saw the both very limited and very off-the beaten-track menu choices we understood this is now a place you come when you either want Happy Hour or have a very specific craving.
The menu is oddly specific for a tourist area, none of the very usual comfort food items on this menu here; (not kid friendly in my opinion either) as an FYI). But, to be clear, our lunches were delicious!
Also, in the County of over 1120 micro-breweries, they literally only offer 1 beer on tap and no bottles. One beer! They also only offer one desert. so you either want the one or you do what we did, walk down the street and eat desert somewhere else ?.
But, we do love this hotel and it's restaurants, we've been dining, drinking and staying here for over 22 years (as locals) and still encourage you to check it out.“

“The family was about to almost eat each other when we saw the Cafe.
We needed nourishment after exploring all the sea and ocean life.
The menu is basic but did I mention they have alchol too! Something for everyone!
Kids meal comes in a cute little bag!
Staff was friendly and food came out fast.
A lot of people around us at the same thought after coming out of the aquarium.“

“Since 2000 La Creperie has been family owned restaurant location in North Park. You can also find their sweet and savory creeps at one of the four farmers markets located they attend in Oceanside Beach, Temecula, Laguna beach, and Redondo Beach. Fresh ingredients are used for many of the sweet and savory crêpes you can choose from and prices are very reasonable. The owner, uses the Tunisian spice “hirisa” sauce which adds to the savory crepes and the crepes batter is a homemade family recipe past down from generations. Each crepe is stuffed full of many of their delicious flavors or combinations ingredients that you can choose from. BUT you may not want to share once you have the first bite! All crepes are generously made with a fully loaded serving so your crepes are a healthy portion. You can also hire La Creperie for any special occasions such as birthday’s, graduation’s, retirement’s, and weddings. I made sure I book ahead of time for my mom’s birthday party.“

“Le Parfait Paris is located within Sky Deck in Del Mar Highlands. As soon as you go up the escalators and through the door, you'll see the signage for this spot. There's an abundance of tables and some couches available to sit on inside. As well as seating outside. The ceilings are high and there's ample sunlight shining through.
There was only one worker the day I went and he was attending another customer. He was really nice and friendly. I noticed that he kept referencing little placecards (to ensure he's making things correctly). Must be new, too bad there wasn't another worker there to help him out and give him some pointers. I had an Iced Honey Lavender Latte here, for about $6.50. He asked me if whole milk was okay and if I wanted it on the sweeter side or more espresso forward. I asked for a balance of the two, as that's the norm when it comes to specialty drinks, or at least in my opinion. As kind as he was, the finishing product of the drink was very lackluster. The drink was watered down and when I got near the end there was a thick gloop of liquid honey (that didn't get mixed into the espresso). I originally thought he just mistakenly grabbed two plastic cups, but it was because he accidentally spilled a large amount of honey down the side of the cup.
I've been to several other locations of Le Parfait Paris and enjoyed my food/drinks (croissant sandwich, macarons, cappucino). This was just an unfortunate timing, but I am sure that the next time I visit-- it will be a better experience.
Parking: Parking shares the space with other businesses in Del Mar Highlands, but it is easy to find spots.“

“A great little French “bistro”. The menu is varied enough for most. I had the curry chicken salad which was perfectly flavored. Portion size was generous. My husband had a bacon panino with a suave of fresh fruit. The fruit was really fresh and ripe. We couldn’t resist dessert - they have a large display of very delectable desserts. The coffee was perfect - strong without any bitterness. Waiter was attentive without being intrusive and offered me coffee to go. I highly recommend this little gem. While we didn’t drink, the table next to us ordered several bottles of wine.“

“WOW!!! What a gem of a restaurant, we ate here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning and it did not disappoint. Everyone loved what they got; Village Omelette, Denver Omelette, Marilyn Omelette, and Jerry’s Machaca. I also got the Bloodsucker Mimosa. It was the biggest and best mimosa I’ve ever had. Even my in-laws liked it and they don’t really enjoy breakfast cocktails. I would highly recommend the homemade jam that comes with the toast my husband almost licked the sides of the ramekins that it came in.“

“6 stars for the croissant dough- buttery, flakey awesomeness! I also love that the pastries are not as sticky sweet. I'm Swiss and its the closest I found in Northpark to the french pastries I know from home. Everything I tried so far tasted very fresh & they seem to use high quality ingredients. The catch: there is very little filling, often concentrated in one small spot. While I don't mind that in the sweet versions as much I was disappointed with the savory... for 6$ there was only a tiny piece of ham & the cheese had either mostly leaked out during baking or there just wasnt as much to begin with.
Staff is always friendly & the place very airy and clean. Quite polished modern decor which feels a bit cold/sterile to me, could use a bit more color & warmth to feel more inviting.“
