“We came to this place for some breakfast and were not disappointed. When we came in, there was no line, although while we were there, people were coming and coming. The food here is amazing, and we really liked the croissant and the croque madame. The service is quick, and the personnel is friendly.“
“came in on valentine's day, was very lonely and sad. That was until a hunk of server came in and made my day. he offered to be my date, i very much accepted. he cooked the food for me, gave me a show, and still managed to clean the table. thank you kevin for making my night, call me.“
“Excellent service, atmosphere and perfect for date night. Excellent French cooking. Everything was delicious! While their tasting menu was absolutely stunning, ordering from the regular (and the special) menu would be more flexible. Portions were surprisingly generous.“
“I’ve been here many times and my experience has always been positive 100% of the time. The pastries are a work of art with a meticulous attention to detail.Great tasting coffee as well.Friendly service.Best French bakery in Orange County!“
“This restaurant is absolutely charming and delicious! Everything we ordered was superb, it is hard to choose a favorite dish of the night. The escargot were perfectly garlicky, the French onion soup was so decadent with the gruyere cheese, the volcano lamb shank just peeled off the bone and the sauce was spectacular, the rack of lamb was cooked to perfection with a perfect crust and the desserts were amazing not too sweet, just perfect.“
“We made reservations for Dublin4 and it seemed pretty wild so they walked next door and sat up at the high top at Wineworks. Such a better atmosphere. Both restaurants share the same kitchen and restrooms. And there’s a lot of similarities between the menus but this has the better options.I always complain that OC doesn’t have great food but this place knows the game. And the wine menu is excellent. I even had a Pinot Noir from Baden, Germany. All dishes were excellent and the service was even better. Only complaint is the parking is terrible so good luck, maybe the lot is bigger in the back.“
“A little piece of France in California. A great welcome and very good pancakes! There are also French products in a grocery corner inside, and they offered us a delicious almond croissant. Finally, I enjoyed chatting with Nathalie! Thank you ☺️“
“Cafe Mimosa is such a cute and aesthetically pleasing environment to have a cute brunch with the girls. If you need a place to take some pictures for your Instagram posts then I would come here. The food was absolutely delicious! The pancakes with fruit was amazing! The fruit was super fresh and sweet! The protein hash was also yummy! The smashed potatoes were incredible! I would highly recommend get a side of them with your meal! 10/10 would come again!“
“Had the Crepe Complete, cafe au lait and two apricot pastries. All were very good. The Crepe had ham, bechamel sauce and emmenthaler cheese. Delicious! It came with a salad. The ambience is great. Nice people watching. Colorful restaurant. Gender neutral restroom. Meter parking.“
“For this small restaurant to be located inside the mall, it is such a nice find! The staff was very friendly and kind. I stopped in on a Saturday morning and it was not at all difficult to get seated. The space inside is relatively small, but they do a cute job at decorating and giving you a French cafe feel. The food was delicious and came out at a reasonable time! The servings are quite large and thank goodness because the food was so so good! I can appreciate the fast service that delivered great flavors!“
“A locals place near the beach...All I can say is Yummmmm.....The staff was friendly and knowledgeable...The food was so good, if you are in the area, GO! after breakfast we walked on the beach! Then back to our road trip..What a wonderful stop!“
“Really enjoyed the food and service here. The atmosphere is cute. The desserts are luscious. The only problem I had here - and it’s a big one - was the family sitting behind us. We were outside. It was a Sunday afternoon. The family consisted of about 4 or 5 adults and one toddler. The lone male was obnoxious. He treated his server poorly. He complained about how long the food took. Then he complained about the child’s food. The server asked what was wrong with the child’s food. Answer - it’s just macaroni and cheese. The server constantly tried to make everything better by groveling to this awful family and then taking a good portion off the bill. Instead of being grateful for the experience of being able to eat at a restaurant in a quaint town the family was ungrateful and privileged. Maybe in their country restaurants bow to every complaint someone has because they own a Gucci bag but not here. I’m also disappointed that the restaurant allowed all this complaining. They should have simply taken off the child’s food amount and taken the dish away and brought them the check. These are not good patrons to have, especially around people like me. I felt terrible for the server.“
“Gorgeous cafe located on a beautifully renovated little corner of Dana Point. So many varieties of avocado toasts and mix of European and American style menu for all tastes. We had Avocado toast with arugula and Dutch Boy, they were both fabulous. All the staff that were serving us were super friendly and they looked genuinely happy to be there. One of my new favorite for weekend brunch.“
