“An absolutely amazing dining experience! Went at high tide (not King Tide) but still special having the waves come up to our window! It was our 21st wedding anniversary and they did everything to make it special. Special table right on the window with waves up to our window. Custom personalized menu and glass of champagne to toast. Stefano was so classy and treated us like royalty. No rush at all and excellent service all night. There were a few mistakes made like timing and steak a little undercooked but they were so apologetic and went way above and beyond service to correct and make things right (way more than necessary) The lobster bisque was probably best ever and our Poached Butter lobster and Waygu Ribeye were spectacular. Everything was fantastic and how they took care of us over very minor mistakes, was stellar! We will be back for other special occasions and highly recommend for special dining experience.“

“Legitimately inedible. I hate posting this, because we were excited to be here. Cocktails were decent (solid at best), but food has been inedible or forcibly eaten as we just want to leave and don't want to ask them to remake it. The beef was cold and the potato was the worst latke I've ever eaten. The surprise guava on the creme brulee was tough and similarly inedible. Will stop at in n out for a half decent meal on the way home.“

“Where do I start, this was easily the best meal and experience in a restaurant that I've had in recent memory (we got the Prix fix with wine pairing).

From the crudo, escargots, duck confit, brown trout and the creme brulee... Everything was cooked and presented to perfection, with very intricate and expansive flavor profiles.

But really what made the whole experience and my birthday something memorable was Frenchy walking us through each of the dishes, the sourcing of ingredients, the particular wine pairings for each dish and why they were chosen. On top of making my night with a complimentary bottle of wine to take home!

“We went to A L'ouest for Barbara's birthday, and what a treat it was! The interior was really special, featuring beautiful plants all over the space.Our server, Ryan, made us feel incredibly comfortable. Since we are Deaf, we deeply appreciated his communication style; he made sure everything was clearly understood throughout our entire meal.For appetizers, we had the grilled beets. For the main course, I ordered the crispy pork paillard and Barbara had the trout. Both dishes were very good, though they could have been improved slightly with the right ingredients and better cooking execution. However, the dessert was superbly good! This restaurant comes highly recommended for a romantic dinner.“

“It had been a long time since I’ve had La Creperie, and it definitely did not disappoint. Whether you’re in the mood for savory or sweet, you really can’t go wrong here.

I originally planned to hit up the Hillcrest Farmers Market for the full crepe + market vibe, but after driving around for 30 minutes trying to find parking, I gave up and headed straight to their North Park location—and honestly, I’m glad I did.

I ordered the California crepe, and as always, it was amazing. The portion was huge—I couldn’t even finish it, so now I’ve got a second meal waiting for me later (which is never a bad thing).

If you’re craving a solid, satisfying crepe, this place is always a win.“

“A great little French “bistro”. The menu is varied enough for most. I had the curry chicken salad which was perfectly flavored. Portion size was generous. My husband had a bacon panino with a suave of fresh fruit. The fruit was really fresh and ripe. We couldn’t resist dessert - they have a large display of very delectable desserts. The coffee was perfect - strong without any bitterness. Waiter was attentive without being intrusive and offered me coffee to go. I highly recommend this little gem. While we didn’t drink, the table next to us ordered several bottles of wine.“

“first time coming to this restaurant and the atmosphere was great and the service was amazing too. we sat out front and the umbrellas provided enough shade for morning time sun. they played awesome chill jazz and r&b music i loved the vibe the whole time we ate. i ordered the napolitano joe’s and it was very good the veggies were cooked perfectly and the chicken sausage, i think it was, was really good! sourdough bread was REALLY good too.“
