“This was sooooo good! We come to La Jolla all the time and I don’t know why we didn’t eat at this restaurant sooner. We have walked by it a million times and finally tried it! The food was incredible- we had the chicken skewer platter and gyro fries. The chicken and meat were very good, the pilaf was delicious, salad, veggies, tzatziki and hummus too- all 10/10. Highly recommend this place, we also sat outside by the fire and it was super warm. Service was fast and the atmosphere was great, not too busy for Friday night. The prices are great for the portion of food you get.“

“Alexis Greek restaurant up town at 3863 5th avenue. My wife and wardered in one day while looking for new restaurants to try out. We ordered a Greek salad and two Gyros for lunch. The plates are prepared by two men who have been running the place for 28 years. Reservations we have never needed and I doubt they take. It is and older building that has not changed much over the years. The service is fast, the food is excellent, and the staff are usually busy but very friendly. I hate to give away this diamond in the rough but fair is fair. Everyone who wanders in like we did 8 years ago keeps coming back as we do.“

“This is one of the cheapest and best food on Mission Bay. Their gyro was awesome and I had the salmon burger too. Next time I'm going to try the cheeseburger. The owner of super nice it's all family run. I had a $15 Burger on a Monday from Luigi's around the corner that was supposed to be a wagu burger and was $5 off because it was Monday. Literally the worst hamburger I've ever had in my life. So if you want something yummy and not so expensive kojak's is definitely the place Kojack's is definitely the place!“

“ZGARA is a sweet, locally owned Greek restaurant that I have been coming here for a while now. They have very affordable and delicious food that won't break the bank. “This Place is a hidden gem. Walking home and saw the recently opened "THE KABOB GRILL". I went in for an exquisite dinner. I had the chicken kabob- with my discount it was less than $15 for a full plate or rice, salad, yogurt and a pita. The plate comes with a grilled tomato and I requested some of their hot sauce. You should too! There is a big parking lot across the street and I was told they offer free valet.“
