“This place is the best! We’re from Colorado and we found this place three years ago when we were visiting. We’ve dreamt about their fish and shrimp tacos ever since, so we make it a point to stop by whenever we’re in San Diego. This last trip was no different. We even went twice this year because they recommended their garlic and butter fish and shrimp tacos and they’re to die for (along with everything else we’ve had). While they do have outdoor seating available, we ate in our car because we had our pup with us. When we went back, they even said they remembered us. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, the place is clean and the food is tasteful. We just wish they would bring their truck to Denver so we could have them more often!“

“Arrived for a 515 reservation and although they were crowded, we were seated right away. And because it was cold, they had no problem moving us to another table outside underneath the heaters! Our waiter was Luke. He was friendly and knowledgeable - especially helpful in recommending our cocktail selections. I straight from my usual red wine order and had the whiskey and donuts. I don't think the menu correctly described it, but it is a cocktail with a small bowl of donut holes. I could have skipped the donuts and been perfectly happy but make no mistake - I ate them anyway!Honestly, I think it's one of the best cocktails I ever had. Smooth as glass! I can't help but always order the rotisserie chicken salad. Even if it's not on the menu, they will make it for you. My friend had the rigatoni pasta and said it was amazing. The Henry never disappoints!!!“

High-quality and well-prepared meats with flavorful tortillas, very fresh cilantro and onions, and several great salsas to choose from - everything you could ask for in a good taco.

“This place is amazing. Had the fish tacos and shrimp tacos both were deep fried and delicious. Hubby had the aguachile bontanas and it was so fresh and filling. Fresh made tortillas for the tacos and tostadas. Also had the clamato which quenched my thirst.
I was also completely endeared to the fact that it was an elderly gentleman cooking and seemed to have a speech impediment. The time it took to cook the food was well worth the wait“

“I stop here every time I’m in this side of my neighborhood. Take the 15 freeway and Exit El Cajon Blvd, go East a few blocks but don’t pass Menlo Ave. Look for Fish and Birria signs waving. They have the whole parking lot just drive in! I usually have two or three Fish tacos (w/o crema) and a pop then they usually know when I’m done because my to-go order is hot and ready!! My grandson is very picky but he looks forward to their Carne Asada Quesa taco’s. I’ve tried a lot off their menu and have never been disappointed, ever. They also GIVE you a “Consommé” which is actually a small portion of their seafood soup not just the fluid, I’ve had whole shrimp in mine many times and small pieces of fish. They’re not stingy with their variety of hot salsas/chili pods and garnishes (limes, cilantro, onions and pickled onions. Lots of ice cold canned and bottled drinks to choose from. This is my only food truck I trust 100% and love their quality of cooking. You’ll agree too once you try them out!“

“Absolutely love the variety of combos. It allows you to have some of everything in one order. Food was hot and freshly served. Thumbs up on the Mac n cheese, candied yams with my order. They ran out of catfish at the days end today otherwise, It would have been my 2nd consecutive order. Also loved the signature taste of the chicken, and the fact that it was very hot and freshly served. I eat more at home than I do out, but many of their items are like home cooked so I will be back!
