“T&A Adventures is @ The Hills Local Pub in La Mesa California having THE BEST BURGER of our adventures so far! I mean WOW! Juicy deliciousness! Garlic Parm Burger - Half Pound patty, candied jalapeño bacon, swiss, garlic aioli, arugula, tomato, brioche bun, parmesean crisp - Served w Fries. Absolute 🔥! Our Server "Jordan" was awesome too.“

Got the signature breakfast sandwich which was really good, avocado was a bit brown and they forgot my chili oil (that I paid extra for) so that knocked some points down. “My kids, me, my husband, my brother in law, my best friend, her family, the list goes on, all LOVE this place. Some of them drive from Chula Vista to eat here. I haven't had a bad dish yet. Carnitas, Carne Asada, Pollo, are all done perfectly. My favorites are the number 1, and the Carnitas Plate. If you're not into meat though try the veggie burrito, the Chile relleno burrito, or the bean n cheese burrito. You can also order the 3 sopes plate with refried beans instead of meat. That plate with meat is a favorite too if you like Sopes. I almost forgot about their chimichangas... I know where I'm headed for lunch today.

Vegetarian options: If you're not into meat though try the veggie burrito, the Chile relleno burrito, or the bean n cheese burrito. You can also order the 3 sopes plate with refried beans instead of meat. Excellent food here.

“Everything noodles from all over Asia. Except, no pho. Mainly Thai and Chinese food.

We ordered:

-Spicy Szechuan chicken wontons: You could tell these were made fresh on the spot and frozen. Great size and spicy sauce.

-Fried chicken wings dirty flavor: 6 wings were evenly fried and had a dry rub.

-Dan Dan Noodles: Typical Dan Dan dish has the numbing spice but not these. It does have the peanut nutty sauce with ground pork and many slices of cha shu pork belly.

-Laksa curry noodle soup: This is a Malaysian dish that I don’t see often. It has coconut milk, lots of chicken and shrimp. Reminds me of Vietnamese noodles.

-Hainanese chicken over rice: Every time I see this dish, I would order it. It’s all in the sauce and I would have to say I was disappointed because it wasn’t the ginger scallion sauce. They use ginger garlic soy sauce. The steamed slices of chicken breast were really dry. Least favorite dish of all.

We ordered leave 3 spice for the dishes and wasn’t spicy. Only the spicy wonton had a tiny kick.

This place serves alcohol and has beer on tap as well Thai beer and non alcoholic drinks.

Looking forward to coming back to try other noodle dishes. I also loved that the prices are reasonable for the portions that you get.“

“3/5 for a first timer during restaurant week… the special menu was $50 per person…. we never got any bread with our dinner (and didn’t realize we were left out until we were on dessert)… and, portions were small, so the bread would have been nice, especially for $50… also, the server made us make our food order at the same time as our drinks… personally, i like to have a drink or two before i order my food… so, the service was rushed in that sense… and no one asked me if i wanted a second glass of wine i had the veal and my friend had the lobster ravioli… both tasted decently but, again, small portions… the burrata was amazing and the desserts (tiramisu and lava cake) were pleasant i think i’d like to try again on a night that isn’t as busy, and order off of the actual menu“

“First time here and not disappointed. Didn't have a long wait like others said. The doma was excellent. I got the combo to try their meats - beef kabob, chicken Tikka, and beef shawarma. All were seasoned well, especially the shawarma...very bold. But it's the cook on the meat that set them apart! All 3 were tender, juicy, and savory. Too many overcook these but they just melted in my mouth. Highly recommended.“

Avocado curry was a gem found in this restaurant. Never had it, now is my favorite! Service was flawless and the host/ server was super friendly and chill. “I live in New York and they have Best tortas and strawberry and cream cup on west coast. Whenever I come out from East coast this is my spot. Employee's are great. If ever in area you need to try. I love everything on menu I come daily for fresh squeezed juice and they have any combination of juices not on menu. They are best . Fruity Loco is my number # 1 smoothie spot in country.“

“These guys have been in La Mesa for some time now. I've enjoyed several pizzas from them over the years.

Recently, I had the Supreme Calzone, which was great. It came well stuffed with all its ingredients. The pizza crust was very good, too.

Service is good but better when the young ladies are there in the evenings.

Surprised and delighted by the size of the servings - the delicious cauliflower appetizer was so abundant that I decided to share a salad - after enjoying chips and salsa, of course. Great salsa - not too mild nor too spicy. My husband said the carne enchiladas were delicious - and again, an abundant serving - which accommodated the higher prices.“

“Hands down my favorite pizza place in ALL OF San Diego. The pizza is perfect everytime and I never have to wait long for my pizza to get delivered. I will never order from any chain pizza places anymore. Frank's is my the only place I'll be ordering pizza from.“

“The layout of this place is a little funky, and I think it’s odd that they stack pizza boxes in some of the booths, but it’s got all the right elements for that old school 90’s pizza shop vibe, and the pizza to match. “I live out east nowadays, but I visit my hometown in La Mesa yearly. Came to Curbside for the first time last year, and just now went back again. I wish we had food like this around here when I was growing up!! My gosh, the short rib beef is incredible. Had it on a salad last time, and just now had the short rib taco along with an equally impressive fish taco. I got a few bites of the beef kebab too, and it was just as top-notch! Great seating options with a view of La Mesa Blvd. Good beer list too. And wonderful staff. I wish I had more time to try more of the menu—but I’ll be back every time I’m in San Diego down the line. “Been coming back over and over again, their food never disappoints and the portions are generous. They have a big menu with a variety of cuisine, Chinese for sure, curries, Japanese, and many vegan choices. The decor is more like you are in a comfortable home, many cute and fancy pieces adorn shelves and cabinets.
