“Excellent customer service has a variety of options to be honest I was skeptical at first but once I came in I realized it was super clean and they were really nice to me and they have options that a lot of stores around here don't have for example I was looking for one of those fruit stand guys and I didn't find any today because the last time I went to one this guy had no mask I don't think he washed his hands it looks really non-hygienic and it was kind of expensive here it was cheaper than that guy and they were very hygienic and it was such a nice story to come to I would recommend it to everybody around here“

“Soooo delicious!! Ordered to-go & took us a little over 20mins to get home & surprisingly my Shaved Iced dessert was still frozen! Very satisfied with how everything tasted. I ordered the Green Tea Snow with Oreos, Strawberries & Popping Boba combination. I loved it. I also ordered the Pistachio & Matcha Green Tea Macarons & the Milk Tea. “Sobok Sobok is a charming Korean-owned bakery and ice cream shop with a modern yet cozy atmosphere. Though the space is small, its simple design and warm ambiance create a relaxing vibe.

Breakfast Experience

I visited in the morning for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Their Croissant Sandwich was a great choice—crispy on the outside and filled with ham, cheese, egg, and lettuce, making for a satisfying and protein-rich meal.

For my drink, I tried the Black Sesame Latte, but it was a bit disappointing. The sesame powder didn’t dissolve well into the hot milk, and no one informed me that it needed stirring, which affected the overall taste.

Environment & Amenities

There are plenty of seats, but a few downsides for those looking to work or study here:

No power sockets, which makes it inconvenient for long stays.

No WiFi, so it’s not the best place for remote work or studying.

Not dog-friendly—only service dogs are allowed, so pet owners should take note.

Final Thoughts

Sobok Sobok has potential, and with a few small improvements, it could be a fantastic go-to spot for both breakfast and dessert lovers.

While my breakfast experience was mostly enjoyable, I’d love to return to try their shaved ice and ice cream next time, as those seem to be their specialties.“

“Stopped here for a donut and coffee and let me tell you, I have not had bomb donuts like this in FOREVER. They are so light and savory not too sweet, just right. And the cherry on top is the owner she has such a warm and inviting personality. You gotta stop here if you're in the area.“

“Classic Taiwanese food. They hit me with the Mandarin the minute I stepped inside and I was totally unprepared for that to happen but it was chill.

Service is very fast. The price is not super cheap but it is reasonable. We got 麻辣豆乾 (spicy bean curd), 香腸 (Sinbala sausage), 炸排骨乾麵 (fried pork chop dry noodles), and 扣肉飯 (pork belly rice). The portions are pretty large. The pork chop was dry but crispy, so I have mixed feelings about that one.

They take card if you order more than $30 worth of food. I’d love to come back to try their shaved ice because I hear it’s better than Meet Fresh!“

“The raspados are delicious here. My family and I we've been clients with them sonce the raspados were at Baldwin Park. Service is always great and the staff are very friendly. The bionicos are good too. I recommend you visiting here to get your raspados. Support small businesses.“

This small, family-oriented Juice bar is located on Arrow Hwy & Hollenbeck Ave. by Vicky's Barbershop with a small private parking lot.
Their menu consists of so many yummy treats such as 'Ice cream, Raspados (shaved ice), Bionicos (Fruit salad), shakes, smoothies, iced coffee, fresh juices, and even food such as hotdogs, sandwiches, salads, tortas, taquitos', etc.
I tried their 'Strawberry smoothie' and a 'Bionico', which is a fruit salad with sweet cream and toppings over it. I liked that the cream was not too sweet. The fruit was fresh and everything tasted great, ideal for this hot weather.
They also have 'Fruit Party Trays' which are perfect for a potluck or simply a gathering.
Service was amazing, very friendly, and welcoming.
Overall, I had a good experience here and will definitely return to try other goodies.“

“Honestly, I couldn’t really say much about the atmosphere yet, I have never been inside the store. My orders were via delivery but from experience it’s the best, excellent and tasty Taro boba drink I’ve ever had. It’s so hard to a very good Taro drink these days using fresh Taro, I love ❤️❤️❤️ House Taro Yuan the best!! Please keep up the great work and never change your ingredients, you are the best and my favorite of all!! “We love the food here. We don't live close but we will travel there for the food. Warning! Cashiers aren't friendly. Barely polite. They should work on their customer service. We all have bad days but I get crappy service every time.“

“If you haven’t tried Taiwanese popcorn chicken before, this is the perfect place to start. Their popcorn chicken is authentic, with a crispy, golden exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior that won’t disappoint. There are also some simple tables and chairs set up inside, providing a space to enjoy your meal. The shop is located inside Secoya Market and sells traditional Taiwanese street food. They also offer Japanese sushi but I haven't had the chance to try it.

There's plenty of seats inside and out so if you're waiting you don't have to stand the whole time. Definitely recommend this spot. “Cocohodo holds a special place as one of our family's favorite snack spots. Today, we swung by to pick up a Cocohodo box to gift to a friend. Opting for a small box with 36 pieces for the gift and a smaller bag of 10 pieces for ourselves, we patiently waited about 15 minutes for our warm, freshly cooked Cocohodo. The place was bustling with activity as we waited, and we also noticed they offer a variety of beverages for purchase.
