“Had appetizers, and drinks at the bar. It was packed, but service did not waver. When evrryone in our party had arrived, we asked to move into the dining room. After closing out our tab, we were graciously moved into the dining room where we ordered the deviled eggs and pondered which bottle of wine we would drink. We arrived around 4 and spent the time catching up, eating, drinking, and enjoying the atmosphere till about 8 p.m. We didn't get rushed along nor did we get any sideway glances for being at the table so long. The places was a great place to spend time with family and relax after a week of working.

Vegetarian options: There is enough options here to make a meal. Salads, baked potatoes, and a jalapeño popper type dish that can be vegetarian if request the bacon kept off the dish. They offer broccolini, cauliflower, and other fried vegetables. These looked very good as they passed by our table to others ables around us.“

“I recently decided to visit The Diplomat in La Verne after being recognized by the Bonita Unified School District for my service to the schools and community. What a great choice! The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the combo plate with filet, chicken, and ground beef—it was more than enough for the both of us. The filet was juicy and sooo good! Excellent service and a fantastic experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!“

“My husband and I have been to The Back Abbey in Claremont, but we recently came to the one in Upland for the first time.

We came during the weekend when they have their brunch menu available. A plus for us is that they have an outdoor patio that's dog friendly. We arrived a little after 10:00am with two of our dogs. We were immediately greeted and told that we could pick any table we wanted.

There's actually a very nice view from the outdoor patio. We were trying to eat a little cleaner after the holidays so we both got water and both ordered the Steak Salad ($18.00) and added avocado for an additional charge. The Steak Salad comes with grilled beef tenderloin, mixed greens, peppadew peppers, red onions, and feta cheese dressed in sun-dried tomato vinagrette. It was very good.

Our server checked on us several times, refilled our waters, and asked if our dogs wanted a water bowl. They had a lot of items on their brunch menu that sounded really good so next time, I will have to try more items.“

“I used to live in the area, it was my favorite place to go for a beer on a weekend night. The bartenders were friendly, the regulars were nice local people, the beer selection was always on top. The bands playing were good. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere. I try to visit whenever I'm in town.“

“Best Korean street food restaurant in Chino Hills!! It's our favorite spot!! Chef Kenny's cooking is always on point. Servers (I'd name everyone but some of them are sadly gone) are always so attentive and welcoming, including the owner Jack who also acknowledges us when he is there. “I’ve been a regular here for about a year now. everyone is so nice, I love their bartenders! (Who sing as well!) on Wednesdays and Sundays they have their amazing KJ (he also sings!) for karaoke!“

“Friendly service when you call on the phone... although there might be a slight chance of 'lost in translation' I had asked for Oolong Lemon Iced Tea and when I got there it was Jasmine Green Tea with Lemon but turns out it was delicious and refreshing so HA!!!

I used to drive by this place all the time and the few times I attempted to go they were closed, and last week I worked late on Friday and tried to call in an order around 8:45PM, google page has hours closed at 10:00pm - this is incorrect they close at 9:00pm. So I couldn't get something to eat as I was driving from work (Riverside) and wouldn't make it in time.

So last night I worked late and thought I would try them again. I ordered the Eggrolls I wanted the traditional Vietnamese ones but I got the Shrimp Eggrolls instead (not a biggie) and the Cream Cheese Rangoons... after I placed my order they called back almost immediately to say they were out of the Rangoons so I ordered the Pork Banh Mi (pronounced barn me) instead - HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS cuzzzz Honnneyyyyyyy

That Banh Mi was so goshdurn delicious!! so good in fact that I didn't manage to take a photo LOL it was wrapped in hardy white (sandwich) paper with all the trimmings (pickled Julienne carrots, daikon, cilantro and jalapenos) in a ziplock and LET (hand clap) ME (hand clap) TELL (hand clap) YOU!! that french bread was perfecto! I really am sorry I didn't pause long enough to capture it but OH well next time I'll be sure to do so ((smile)).

Parking lot was empty but I got there slightly before closing so it figures. There were 2 people sitting eating and they had an entire booth full of food in front of them that looked and smelled AMAZING. I'm happy to have found another 'comfort food' spot so close to home. BTW the young lady at the bar was so nice but the 3 people that worked there that were near the exit when I left never said "Bye or Thank you for coming" - and you KNOW I'm in Hospitality and every impression counts I'm ultra aware.

“This was a nice little joint I happened to come across looking for a locals style restaurant. I showed up a bit after 5, so it wasn't to busy yet. The tv near the ceiling as a list of all the beers available on tap. Some of their beers are not my type, but that's fine. When you sit down, you have 2 fermentation tanks in the dining area that makes for a neat experience. The beers are pretty decent. They do have a happy hour, but I'm not sure of the times. I did order the bratwurst, it was ok. I do think the menu should be expanded, as there wasn't much to choose from. Several photos from years back showed a significant menu; but not anymore. Overall I'd come back. I enjoy the small atmosphere and the locals feel that is involved.“

“I forgot the name of our male server ..gave us outstanding service ..very attentive, all I remember was he had curly hair and was going to medical school. An amazing human being it's so nice to see a young person with so much ambition. Hopefully, he will be rewarded for all his hard work.“

“Honestly, this is by far the best bar in the area. Really awesome bartenders that everybody seems to know and love. Great daily specials, great selection of beer on tap and in bottle or can, great selection of liquors, they even have some decent wine. Always a great crowd of all kinds of friendly people that make you feel like family. Karaoke on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They have a food Vendor every day of the week that sets up out front at 9pm and they also let you bring other outside food in all day long too. They show the UFC PPVs with no cover charge!! They scan your ID before you enter with plenty of security which definitely makes you feel safe and comfortable. All in all, you will for sure have a great time here!!!“

“I have been going there for 50 + years. Me and the Wife for 30 years! We live in Las Vegas, Nv. I have been to every 5 star in Las Vegas for 45 years and Clearman's is still the best ever! The food, service and the service has not changed in all that time! I remember the Owner, was going to build a Clearman's in Green Valley, Henderson. When he passed away I asked his Son when is the New Clearman's was opening, he stated never, his Dad was wrong in thinking about opening it. I told him I live in Vegas, the Wife and I come just for the food then back to Vegas. I told him we tell all our Friends , Family and our work mates, ( Law Enforcement) , take photos of our food and the restaurant! Today my Son's Friend from Co. Ate for the first time took leftovers home with pictures he took! Still waiting for a NEW CLEARMAN'S in Nv. To happen! Please!“

“I've been a Vince's customer all my 70 years. Not your typical Italian restaurant, just a spaghetti house, although the menu has been expanded recently to include lasagna. Always good, family friendly, just don't get hungry for spaghetti on Wednesday. To my knowledge they've never been open on Wednesday.“
