“I love to go to Active Culture every time I’m in the Newport area. They have very original healthy options like the LB bowl and the Chocolate Bliss shake. The yogurt and açaí bowls are so good too. I like to get an LB bowl to go because the brown rice, apples, dates, prosciutto and cheese hold up well while traveling and I can eat it anytime I get hungry. Close to the ocean and sitting outside on a nice day is heavenly.“

“I stopped in to Earth Bowl today after I finished getting my nails done, and I was highly impressed. There was a fairly long line and only one person working, but he moved fast and efficiently, so it didn’t take longer than 5 minutes to get through the line. The worker Jefferson was really patient with me as it was my first time, and did a good job of explaining the options to choose from. Place was fairly clean as well. Totally recommend the cacao sorbet if you like chocolate, so refreshing!!“

“Easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in Southern California, Freddy is one amazing cook and business owner and made the entire experience worthwhile. His Deli has its own charm to it hidden away in a very unsuspecting spot in a business center, making it feel like a speakeasy but for amazing food (and really good cold brew). If you are in the Irvine area it would be a crime not to give this place a try.“

“When you have times you are suppose to open then you should open on time and have stuff ready for your customers right when you open. Nothing was ready …..the guy turned the lights on and opened later then the time posted so we were having to wait and of course nothing was ready to open even when the doors did open. It’s kind of frustrating when a place is suppose to be open at a certain time“

We were greeted by a young gentleman in the name of Justin Lensky. When he heard my son won his game, he gave him a free empenada! His face brightened brighter than the sun. “Wow! I just had the BEST Açaí Bowl ever! It was refreshingly delicious! I bought 2 bowls - a small and a medium for a friend. I wish I would've gotten the medium size too. I can't believe how I was unable to stop eating the entire bowl. I'm already thinking of my next visit. The owner is extremely nice and I'm so glad I went with his recommendation! I've also had the beef empanadas in the past- which are also very good. 100% Happy!“

“Great place for someone vegan and gluten intolerant. I had an açaí bowl regular size and it was very generous, full of fresh fruit and gluten free granola which made it sweeter.The açaí itself was pretty sweet on its own so I would probably not take the granola next time. The açaí was the correct consistency. Not completely frozen like some places serve it but very cold like a thick smoothie which is how it should be served.Service was great, nice chilled vibe and you can tell it’s not a huge chain but a local business which makes me want to come back and try some of their other bowls, coffees and bakes.“

“Another delicious Earth Bowl location! My family loves Earth Bowl, and we were pleasantly surprised that we could snag a smoothie while waiting for our car to get maintenance in the same plaza. The store was practically empty and super clean. The staff were friendly and made my smoothie really quickly and did a great job. I got the strawberry colada which is just the perfect coconut flavor with strawberry and a hint of pineapple. So refreshing!“

“I've been visiting this spot since they opened. Their food is delicious, well-made, and of course. Healthy. I get different variations of the avocado toast along with the healthy veggies sandwich. I absolutely love their almond butter smoothie. Their natural juices are also tasty. My boyfriend loves ordering chicken and turkey sandwiches from here, as well. The service is attentive and very polite. No complaints. The owner is sometimes at the shop, and he's very knowledgeable on any of the food items. The tables are always clean. I also like that they play so jazz and pop music to add character to the ambiance. Definitely a 5/5 star rating. “FRESH fruit! Sometimes the fruit can be so so at açaí places. But we really enjoyed our bowls. The price for the amount was fair and just tasted really good! Size small bowl you get 2 bases and the medium you get 3 bases. Decent amount of places to sit inside and enjoy your food. The mango base was very good, not too sweet but great flavor. Definitely a good spot to hit up before the beach or after! Parking is just if you can find it... paid or not. But for the most part you should be good.“

“Kept hearing amazing things about the coconut caramel latte. Came in when I had some free time and was greeted by a super friendly barista, they made my drink lightning fast, and it was DELICIOUS. All around my experience was wonderful and the service and prices were much better than their well known green sirened competitor. I'm just bummed there aren't more locations more inland in OC because this one is slightly difficult to get to unless you're already in close proximity. I've even tried to order online ahead of time to try to cut time down but sadly the coconut caramel isn't on their website for ordering for some reason. Regardless, this is one of the best coffee experiences I've had in a long time!“

“My friends told me as a matcha lover that I needed to come here. I ordered a large signature matcha and was given my order quite quickly! I would definitely come back, the matcha was quite good, with a pleasant balance of sweetness that did not overpower the matcha flavor. My friend got the macadamia oat latte and enjoyed it. I had a sip and it was quite good. I do think my other friends overhyped the place just a tad but it is very good!“

“I really like this place, but $17 for a shake and tea combo ... not to mention asking your customers to tip on top of that... a simple meal replacement of $20 with tax. No bueno. “I love this place! I have enjoyed the frozen yogurt from this location in Irvine (Close to UCI) for the past couple of years and have not been disappointed! Following a car accident, I began ordering it by delivery, which worked out so well I often still do! Even by delivery, the staff still takes the time to package it well and ensure the order is correct! In addition to the place itself and its yogurt, the staff is fantastic and very personable!! In fact, from my occasional phone calls asking if a specific flavor is available, I've found that more than one staff member literally knows who it is and greets me by name before I even have a chance to tell them! They even remember my usual order. This kind, personable attitude is something that is far from the norm in this day and age! Their consistent, kind demeanor reminds me of what things must have been like ages ago! Long before, so many acted entitled, too often treating the people serving them as if they were insignificant! Serving the public is a tough job, and when it's performed at this high level, I am incredibly impressed! I have to admit that while I don't have impossible or unrealistic expectations for any establishment, I do have relatively high expectations that need to be met before I feel comfortable writing glowing reviews that others may use when deciding where to go. That said, this place, its yogurt, its flavors, and its amazing staff far surpass those expectations! My sincerest thanks to all of you at the University Center Yogurtland for your hard work and simultaneous positive demeanor that, IMO, goes unrecognized far too often! (and BTW, thanks for the cute drawings on the bags I receive!! HaHa!).“

“Ive been here once and i love it! The yogurt was amazing! But had a little bit of a weird texture. The workers were so nice and the topping bar had so many different options! Although the toppings we're getting mixed up. The place was clean but the tables had some leftover yogurt. Wish they were cleaner. Overall i loved it here for being my first time! “The best thing about Yogurtland is that you can mix a bunch of different ice creams on your own, and also, they have a ton of toppings to choose from. You can have as little as you want or fill the whole cup. It's up to you. They charge by the weight of your cup.“
