“This place has, hands down, the best Açaí bowl in Laguna. The Uppers bowl with a protein base and chia pudding added has been my go-to breakfast for like 2 weeks now. Cooper has been awesome, super friendly and makes some awesome bowls. 10 / 10 would recommend.“

“After an 8 mile hike at the nearby El Moro Canyon State loop near Laguna beach, I was craving a peanut butter smoothie. Jan’s was nearby and I was definitely not disappointed! $11 for a smoothie is a lot but it was pretty big and flavorful. Nothing bad to say, worth a visit if you are in the area!

Parking: You can park at the Sherwin-Williams directly across from Jan’s but is 30 minutes only. I would eat and just watch the car.“

“Such a fun, colorful place to eat with many vegan options. We tried the Zesty and Earth Bowls. They substitute hummus for Tzatziki. Super fresh food, enjoyable atmosphere. Definitely going back. They promote Christianity on their signage and when I asked the server - says they are non denomination. Make sure to look at their website for the beautiful food pictures.“

I had a friend introduce me to this place today. I’d say 90 percent of my diet is all Vegan and I don’t know how I didn’t go here before.

When we got there it was a cute friendly atmosphere with good music playing. The service was great the guy at the front was very sweet. The restaurant was very clean and tidy and they had alkaline water on tap for free! The staff brought our food to the table when it was ready and came over to clear it when we stood up to leave.

I ordered the Mediterranean bowl that came with a delicious mushroom frittata and it was very filling could only eat half. I took home a yogurt parfait for later which turned out to be amazing! I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back. It was a little on the pricey side but what isn't these days? Everything was fresh crisp and healthy and exactly what I needed so I really didn’t feel guilty about spending the money.“

“I really like this place. There’s many healthy options to choose from and everything tastes great and fresh. I always feel light yet fully satisfied after a meal here. The protein shakes are so tasty. I love their salads and that you can customize the entrees. There are some indoor dining tables and bar stool seating.“

“Got the breakfast special, I was amazed at how exceptional it was for like seven bucks?! Actually got an over medium egg that wasn’t under or overcooked. Potatoes were well seasoned bread had good flavor and texture really appreciated the unsalted grass fed butter that came with it and I got a cuppa hot tea as well

I come to Irvine twice a year for work and I didn’t enjoy the hotel across the street. I’ll definitely be making an effort to have breakfast here next time I’m in town.

As for the grocery store, I felt the selection was perfectly fine. They had a nice variety of options as well, and the produce seemed pretty good.

The grocery prices were a little steep, but given how little I paid for my meal, it seems justifiable and reasonable for my perspective.“
