“I rarely write reviews unless a place truly deserves it, and this Moulin Café location at the Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point absolutely does. We visit weekly and even go out of our way just to come here.
The coffee is consistently hot, fresh, and delicious—and they’re one of the few places that still serves great old-fashioned brewed decaf. We usually order it half decaf and half regular, and it’s always perfect.
The pastries are excellent, and the customer service is outstanding. Antoine, the manager, is always friendly, respectful, and welcoming, and the rest of the staff is just as wonderful.
Highly recommend!“

Everything looks and tastes exceptional, reflecting true craftsmanship and quality.
What truly sets this location apart, however, is the leadership and staff. The store managers — especially the French-speaking manager — along with the entire team, enthusiastically greet every customer with genuine warmth and professionalism. They are a real class act and an absolute pleasure to do business with. Their energy, hospitality, and pride in their café elevate the entire experience.

“Hi Pandor. My local Nisa store has started to or maybe for a while,, stocking your loaths. One particular one I've tried so far is what they refer to as the Granny Brown. Has a sort of nutty flavour and is like a full whole meal although rustic style small bloomer. It's my new favourite and a Son of a baker, let me complement you on a nice shop loaf. I wondered however. The paper bag with a transparent window, says it's 100% recyclable. I then to tear the plastic/transparent window out of bakery etcsemi paper bags and seperate transparent to landfil and paper to compost. Although I'd like to know is the peper suitable for compost. I wonder what makes the transparent window recyclable, so I can check with my local council if their recycling systems/contractors have the means to recycle it, before I tear it apart. What is the the transparent window made of if not plastic? Thanks“

“I just discovered the most incredible hidden gem and I have to share it—because it might just be my new favorite restaurant in the world! 🌟 This place is a dedicated gluten free restaurant (yes, you read that right!) and every single dish blew me away. I honestly still can’t believe how amazing the food was. The croissant was so buttery, flaky, and perfect I had to double check that it was really gluten free—it’s a dream come true. 🥐 The popovers with house-made jam and honey butter were out-of-this-world delicious, the Brisket Benedict was rich and comforting with perfectly poached eggs, and the Steak Frites rivaled any French bistro. Every bite was pure heaven. But what really makes this place so special are the wonderful owners, Laura and Michael. Their passion, warmth, and dedication show in everything they do. Laura is a true genius—she spent 7 years perfecting her very own gluten free flour blend and dough, and you can even buy it to take home for fresh bread, pizza, or cinnamon rolls. It rises and bakes like traditional dough, and the flavor is unbelievable. 🍞✨ The restaurant itself is gorgeous, the service was wonderful, and the food… I’ll be dreaming about it until I can go back. We went for brunch, but I can’t wait to try dinner next. If you’re gluten free, this is your paradise. If you’re not gluten free, I challenge you to come here and tell me you can tell the difference. “Mimi's was NOT honoring reservations on Thanksgiving at all. We arrived early for our reservation. They added my name and number of guests to the walk-in list. The only reason we got seated within half an hour of our reservation time was we stood right by the hostess station and I kept staring at them and telling them we had a reservation. Why take reservations for a very busy night if you are not going to honor them?? We have eaten at Mimi's for Thanksgiving in the past, but never again!“
