“What a wonderful surprise stopping by here after the gym thinking I was going to get different options of Gyro and Rice and there were so many offerings that were very healthy and appetizing. I ordered the Zoodles with the Salmon protein option and it was delicious. It was also a nice surprise that they serve equally yummy breakfast options all day long. I have my close to home healthy go to option that does not compromise on taste and plenty of variety.“

“One of my favorite spots to get an açaí bowl. This location unfortunately felt like it was lacking what the Huntington Beach location has in terms of toppings and fruit. Could be because we came before close. Otherwise always a good move going to Blue Bowl.Proportion on point! “*****Best Bowls Ever!*****My eldest and I were in the neighborhood for a couple of days. The previous day we had acai and pitaya bowls elsewhere. We came here with no expectations. The shop is small and cozy and they have a few tables outside where you can sit next to the Dr. Who robots and Tardis. Service is superb. The hosts are friendly and full of smiles. We were both surprised at the freshness and quality of our bowls. We ordered:1. Campground-1/2 pitaya, 1/2 acai with granola, banana, strawberries and blueberries. Super flavorful. Smooth. Tasty.2. Moonbeam (my eldest ordered this) which was strictly Acai.I have to say that the cost was the average for the bowls but worth every penny. Both my eldest and I agreed these were the best bowls we have had. I would easily come back again. The parking lot is small but we found space. Alohana is all that and a bag of chips!“

“I absolutely love black market meal prep. They have saved me so much time I have still allowed me to eat healthy while at work. As a first responder, I don’t always have time To go to a restaurant to eat, so having my food with me Makes my life easier. Between the chimichurri sauce, and the green salsa, I swear I could eat every meal with that. The service is always on point. I actually found a workaround for the straws because I love their smoothies and protein shakes but yes, they are a little bit thick for the straws. So I ended up bringing my own straw which are a little bit thicker. I bought them off of Amazon after California decided to make everything out of paper. Keep up the phenomenal work black market, I love your food and your service.“

“This place was a lot of fun to take my daughters to. They have build your own bowl with oats, Chia, yogurt and sorbet and a variety of healthy toppings. Chelsea who works here it was super friendly and helpful. This is a great place to go to for a quick snack or for breakfast or lunch.“

“I love to go to Active Culture every time I’m in the Newport area. They have very original healthy options like the LB bowl and the Chocolate Bliss shake. The yogurt and açaí bowls are so good too. I like to get an LB bowl to go because the brown rice, apples, dates, prosciutto and cheese hold up well while traveling and I can eat it anytime I get hungry. Close to the ocean and sitting outside on a nice day is heavenly.“

“Love this place! Super casual and friendly service. I always get the SC rice bowl it's sweet with green apples, fig, proscuitto and fresh basil. Huge serving and is definitely a two-meal kinda order. I start craving it at least once a month. The yogurt is definitely on the pricey side but so so good. Definitely a go-to spot for girl's lunches and moms with kids-gets busy in the summer.“
