I used to get their iced vanilla latte religiously almost everyday then I tried other places and realized Aroma’s lattes are very milk heavy and I can barely taste the coffee. If I get coffee from them it’s a cold brew now.

Dessert is delicious! The chocolate chip cookies are goey and have a crunch .

I love the location it’s beautiful inside and out. It usually gets packed and there’s a line you have to wait in, but we went in at 5pm and it was pretty quiet. Found seating inside no issues, tables were clean, bathroom was clean. Service was quick!

“Amazing!!! Worth the wait! Definitely my favorite brunch place now! My friend and I have been brunching our way thru LA haha and this is probably the best brunch spot we have found so far! It gets crowded bc it's so delicious and the coffee art is so much fun! You scan a QR code and upload your pic for your latte :) Such an extensive menu and lots of boozy options if you're looking for a drink. Our server was very attentive and made excellent recommendations too.

I got the Fried Chicken Lemon Velvet Waffle which was SO good - literally tastes like lemon cupcakes yummmmmmm! And the fried chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork.

There is a parking lot in the back which gives you 90 minutes free with validation and then $2 for each 15 min thereafter. If the lot is full, drive around and you may just luck out and someone is leaving so you can get a spot. Also definite put yourself in the online waitlist before heading there - it will cut down on the wait time.

“Came here for the first time on a Sunday for brunch. I ordered the Salmon Tartine and it was very good but definitely needed a side of a lemon wedge. We ordered the Belgian waffle and unfortunately it came out hard and cold. If they fixed this and made the waffle a little softer and served it warm I would change the review to 5 stars. The coffee was really good. I got the Iced Caramel Latte with whole milk and I enjoyed it. The location is really nice. Very attentive staff. Love the decor. They got inside and outside seating. “I think 5.2 Patio is a great boba shop and actually has better prices than other local boba shops. The drinks are always consistent and always taste amazing. Golden Brown Café may appear modest from the outside, but within its walls lives craftsmanship, kindness, and flavors that deserve to be sung by poets. Matcha is very refreshing and healthy tasting, doesn’t taste artificial. Do recommend cream top of some kind to sweeten it up, the strawberry was perfect! Coffee was bomb too. Food looks amazing. “Walked in thinking it was an ice cream shop, had no idea the food was healthy! Great atmosphere and very friendly people there. I came 30 mins after close by accident😬 but Lorena, Madi, and Victor were incredibly nice and took my order.

The shake I got had around 200 calories and 24 grams of protein which is insanely good for how it tasted.

Customer service is also AMAZING and Natalia is the best. When we place a phone order, she asks for our eta to time making the drink so we don’t end up with a melted, watered down drink. “This eatery is a quaint jewel among others. The staff greets you with a warm and welcoming smile, and they are kind, caring and attentive. The food is delicious and tastefully presented and we keep returning to enjoy another meal.“

“Been coming here for years and their menu has been great. Known for their Brisket Burritos, Fairfax egg sandwich and that Salmon Eggs Benedict on weekends that I have yet to find another establishment or restaurant with such a mouth watering hollandaise sauce. Regarding their coffee, its wonderful. Agreed their to go cups are a bit in the small size versus other coffee shops, but at least the coffee you get will leave you with a satisfying morning smile. One last good thing I appreciate are the familiar employees that have been there for years. Consistency in every aspect is found here.

But its not all perfect. I understand dogs are welcome, and I love dogs, its the owners that come in and start blocking the path to get to the order counter, who start conversations with other dog owners who create a barrier. Especially for those with an entitled mentality who will hardly to not budge to let you pass. This effects the experience to others, so maybe Commissary can continue to allow our friendly dogs to be apart of the atmosphere, but add and enforce some common sense rules for the experience of others and safety.
