The Al Pastor may legitimately be better than the best quality I’ve ever had with pork. “This place is amazing. The chicken tacos were very tasty. I was attending GrowthDay Live at the Alex Theater and this is conveniently located nearby. It's also close to the Brand Plaza Hotel. The service was excellent. Very friendly and even remembered my order when I went in a 2nd time (I mentioned the tacos were tasty, didn't I?). I have to eat gluten free. There are several gluten free options (including the chicken tacos). The price was also extremely reasonable. I highly recommend stopping by and eating some tacos (or anything else on the menu).

At many Mexican food places you always end up picking large pieces of fat or gristle from the carne asada, but never at Casitas! The charbroiled taste of the meat really sets them apart from other taco joints. The burrito ranchero plate can feed two, and the serve yourself salsa bar is always on point. You wouldn't give the building much importance from the outside, and it's sort of in a funny area for a restaurant. When I entered, I got the family-owned restaurant vibe...small, simple, spartan. The server that helped us was very polite and explained some of the dishes we had questions about. In the end, we ended up getting the "Torre" and the Ceviche de camarones", they were both awesome, super tender, and fresh-tasting. We had to leave early to pick up my son so we didn't finish the "Torre". You should definitely try this place if you like mariscos! (Seafood)

Wheelchair accessibility: My only complaint would be that it is NOT accessible with a wheelchair, there is a ramp for wheelchairs and a parking spot for the disabled but the door literally obstructs access from the ramp, my wife needed to stand up and walk a few steps to get passed the door, but not everyone can do that. The other option would be to have somebody haul you up the steps, and that too can not be performed by everyone. This problem could easily be solved by making the door swing towards the inside instead of opening outwards.“

“Best authentic Mexican restaurant I've been to in a long time. The food and atmosphere are amazing. Big menu, friendly and quick service, full bar, and plenty of seating.

Didn't have to wait at all to be seated on a Saturday night and the food was served shortly after ordering without a long wait. Chips and salsa were made in house and were great. I ordered the combo fajita and it was cooked perfectly and sizzling, as it should, when served. The shrimp, chicken, and steak were delicious and bountiful.

My only gripe is that the lighting was very dim. People with any sort of vision problems may have trouble reading the menu. Other than that, this place sets the bar for excellent authentic Mexican cuisine.“

“With taco trucks being all the rage this is one that you need to visit. The Birria Tacos here are bar none the best that I've had. Don't get me started with their other offerings of burritos, here. They are big full of flavor and well worth the price. The quesadillas are my next favorite, but believe me everything here is good.

Parking: The only thing about the parking here is that there's just a few spots around the truck that are available so it's going to be a walk if you have to park right on the street. If not, the business that is right in front has a big lot where you could just sit there and eat your food after you get it just make sure it's on the weekend. I'm pretty sure they're not too happy if you're parking there during the week.“
