“I can honestly say this barbecue chicken was perfection from the first bite to the last. The meat was tender, juicy, and cooked all the way through without losing any of its natural flavor. The smoky aroma hit me before I even took a bite, and the sweet-tangy BBQ sauce clung to every piece like a delicious glaze. It had just the right balance of char on the outside for that satisfying grill taste, without being overdone.

The chicken is super tender, fresh, crispy, and best of all - HALAL... the breading is probably the best I've had of all the hot chicken places I've tried. I tried the Medium spice level and it was perfect for me. It had the perfect heat level / kick and with their tasty ranch, it was perfect!

But the best part of my meal here was the excellent service I received from the 2 guys working, Jeremiah and Angel... these guys know how to treat customers, especially when it's your first time. Gave me the perfect recommendation and went above and beyond to make sure my first-time experience was nothing short of amazing. Well done, fellas. Thank you. “Best grilled chicken. I drive from redondo just to come here. The prices are insanely reasonable. I always get the 2 chicken combo with sides or 3 chicken combo if I have guests over my house. The sides are incredible too. The rice has a corn finish to it with perfect taste, no salt needed as it’s seasoned perfectly. I’m not a fan of beans but they’re very similar to my grandmothers (they’re not fried beans). The potato salad is addicting too, it’s really my guilty pleasure and the last thing we run out off. Pops Chicken HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME HERE! Went here one day for a chicken plate and the pieces had plenty of meat, hardly greasy, lightly seasoned, and overall tasted like good ol home cooking 🤤. Just came here again to try their fish and shrimp and again, it was excellent. Most fish and shrimp places drown their fish in thick bread-like batter that makes you feel sick in a few bites. Here however, the fish and shrimp are fried in a seasoned thin peppery flour mix, basically a thin batter 🤤. I don't think I can go anywhere else for fried chicken and fish. JUST BE SURE TO AIR OUT THE FOOD TO LET IT COOL DOWN WHEN YOU GET IT!! YES! ITS THAT FRESH! AND THAT GOOD!“

“Just checked out Luv Dduk in Cerritos — if you’re craving late-night Korean food, it’s a solid spot. Portions are huge, everything hits, and they’ve got BOGO beer and soju all day which doesn't get better than that really. Went with a group and honestly, we barely made a dent in the plates. We got the giant katsu, tteokbokki w/ ramen + cheese, and bulgogi cheese fries. The katsu really is humongous. The tteokbokki was solid but the bulgogi fries was my fave of the night. The place gets busy, but food comes out fast. Overall a good spot to grab a late meal with friends and walk out feeling full.“

Quite tasty and tender chicken including a trio of sauces that enhance the taste, I was told my the server that it’s best to mix them.

“Good Mexican food shouldn't be expensive; this restaurant isn't. It's a wonderful bargain for food; quality Mexican classics. It's on Pacific Avenue in Downtown Long Beach, walking distance to the Civic Plaza, Billy Jean King Library and courthouse. The downside is that they only accept cash for payment, although there is an ATM inside. They make excellent tacos, burritos, tortas and tostadas. I haven't tried their soups yet. You can order their burritos wet or dry, same price for either, and I never finish one without taking half of it home. Tortilla chips and salsa on the table before the meals, with the salsa being a red spicy sauce. Service is excellent and attentive. Consider getting the Jarritos soft drinks instead of the fountain sodas -- they don't filter the water, so you'll taste the bleach from the tap water used.
There is parking in the back. I love this little place for authentic Mexican food; just remember to bring cash instead of a credit card.“

“The chicken sandwich I had for lunch was the best I've ever had! The slaw was perfect and I'm not a slaw fan. The bread was soft with a slight butter taste. The chicken was crispy with just a touch of spice like I asked for. The fries were excellent. This is my new go to for chicken. I'd post a photo but it was already gone.“
