Last night, I had the pleasure of enjoying an IPA at Calico Saloon while being serenaded by the Summer Nights band. The evening was a delightful blend of refreshing drinks and lively music.

Calico Saloon provided the perfect rustic backdrop, with its old-timey charm and welcoming atmosphere. The warm summer night and the live music created an ambiance that was both relaxing and exhilarating.

The IPA I ordered was a highlight of the evening. From the first sip, it was clear that this brew was crafted with care. It had a rich, golden hue and a robust aroma of citrus and pine. The flavor profile was well-balanced, featuring a harmonious blend of hoppy bitterness and subtle malt sweetness. The crisp finish left me eager for the next sip, making it a perfect choice for a warm summer night.

“A hidden gem found by accident as I stayed in the Doubletree by Hilton nearby. Excellent beef dish with sprouts and tried for the first time silkworm pulpo soup which was better than I expected once I got over the idea and look of it. Some drunk noisy obnoxious patrons to be expected but otherwise had a great meal in a small mom and pop Korean resto. Will definitely come back and try other dishes. The waitress was also very nice and although she could not speak very well English she was very polite, nice and attentive.“

But I ordered the plank steak, which was called something like, Special Forces something or other, and I'm sorry for not remembering. Anyway, the steak was really, really, thick and very flavorful. I honestly don't know about their consistency to serve it the same way all the time, but wow, it was really good and the price was also excellent. The only thing I wish they would of offered would of been a baked potato, because although you do get two sides, other than the veggies, I wasn't really sold on the others. Would I eat there again?...yes!“

“I have been going to 6740 for years. They have beer and wine. They have TV's for sporting events. The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed their wings, but recently we had a less enjoyable food experience. The wings were served cold and the grilled cheese burger was very plain. Prior to that, this was one of my favorite places for wings. I hope it improves if we come back. Maybe it was just a busy night. I don't know.“

“V Room is the quintessential Dive bar. Everything you want, nothing you don't. Service was excellent, great music, games on TV but conversation stoked by great bar tender and other patrons. No food service here, but easy to get food from nearby.
