“I LOVE THIS PLACE !!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IMPECCABLE, FOOD OUTSTANDING, ATMOSPHERE AMAZING EVEN IN ITS OLD WESTERN RETRO STYLE !!! The only THING I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH I HAD NO ROOM TO TRY THE DESSERTS 😔 !!! LOVED THE BIRTHDAY SONG BY ONE OF THE WAITERS FOR ANOTHER CUSTOMER!!! THE PORTIONS ARE INSANE . “We ordered Dinner combo 9. We got our order after 15 minutes, which was quick. We tried the red snapper, and it's was good. The seasoning needs more spices, but the light coating was okay.The fried oysters were tasty, and the shrimp hit the spot. The sauces need to have more zing and tang to it. The fries had less salt but were not crispy enough. They have lots of fish to choose from. They also have chicken menu.Overall, this was a good place to order seafood and take out dinner. They don't have tables inside, so you have to eat in the car or take it home.“

“I love the platanos and platano de empanadas, is my go to! Pupusas are great. Curtido is great, made the traditional way! I recommend you call in to place your order. Is not that they are slow is just the food is great they get tons of orders. I love that its clean inside too. Yeah its located in not the best street but never been a problem for me. I recommend this place!“

“Only complaints ...We did not get seated in the area reserved. The restaurant was not crowded and still understaffed or slow. The food was excellent and brought back memories of my childhood. Visiting from Ohio, I have frequented the restaurant a number of times on vacation since childhood. Mrs. Knotts' chicken dinner did not disappoint and was very filling. My wife had the pot pie and loved it. A highlight everyone in the party had excellent boysenberry flavored cocktails. In an era of small plates and picture perfect mini meals, Mrs. Knotts' delivered a traditional and tasty homestyle meal. My memories with family over the years came crashing back at first bite.“

“I love the food here. Their chicken is one of the best in my opinion.
The service is poor just for the fact that they are always understaffed. I went on my lunch break for a quick meal and there was only one employee handling the drive thru and customers that were dining in.
I drove thru so can't really say much about the dine in atmosphere but it looked nice inside regardless.“

“Good food, sometimes a little too salty; especially on the turkey chops, my favorite. Also, whoever answers the phone to take orders, I know, make sure you have your order ready, but he was rushing me off the phone. I had to call back to make sure he got my order correct. Anyway, the food is still good.“

“Came here with a group of 4 on a Friday around 530. We were seated and attended to right away. The service was nice and the food was really good. We actually found that going alacart was cheaper then getting a combo on the menu. My mom shared a 1/2 pound of shrimp, 1/2 pound of green muscles, we added corn and sausage and like 2 ordered of garlic bread, plus we each had a margarita and our total was like 60 dollars as opposed to one combo with no drinks, and no garlic bread is like 60 dollars. Anyhow the flavors were so good we tried the butter garlic on the shrimp and the stinken sauce flavor on the muscles and everything was delicious! I recommend this place because it's also really close to (driving close that is) the long Beach exchange/ hanger for some walking around after you are nice and stuffed.“
