“This is THE place to taste delicious authentic Salvadoran pupusas at the Food Plaza on Harlan Road in Lathrop. Maria’s a wonderfully talented chef. Don’t miss her food truck serving up hot fresh dishes for omnivores and herbivores alike!
Vegetarian options: As far vegetarian fare goes, I have only had a spinach pupusa, but it was really good! I also loved one the first one I tasted with beef. I will definitely be going back for more. Deeeeeelicious!!!
Parking: At lunchtime with so many food trucks, it might be challenging to find a spot, but well worth it!
Kid-friendliness: Situated among many other food trucks in the plaza, it’s a fun atmosphere to experience with the kids! Plenty of seating with umbrellas to provide shade. Worth the trip, for the whole family!
Wheelchair accessibility: I didn’t totally size that up, because I don’t use one, but I assume it would be fine for wheelchairs. The everything is on street level.“

“Never had a bad experience here. Food is always on point and delicious. The Chicken Biriyani is very spicy but you can order it more or less to your liking. I'd say medium and up is pretty spicy. We can get a single Biriyani that makes 4-5 servings with the addition of the Naan. Great value.“

“I have been to many Indian restaurants but this one is out of the ordinary. The food is exceptionally tasty. The manager told me they use locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. Love it and highly recommend.“

“Go slowly on the credit card reader. I tapped my card without paying attention to the prompts and, apparently if you don't respond to the Tip prompt and explicitlyskip it, it adds a 15% tip automatically. I was not amused.
My kids did love the ice cream, however. But it's a lot to spend on one bowl of ice cream!“
“Churro food truck in lathrop food plaza. In my opinion skip the fancy churros and get the regular, caramel, and chocolate ones. I believe they make their churros to order as it took a few minutes and they came out super crispy and hot. The churro texture was perfect with a super crunchy exterior and a fluffy interior.“

“Hands down best taco truck around. I’ve tried SEVERAL different taco trucks and I gotta say this one stands out on top. Alex and his father present you with outstanding customer service and never fail to satisfy your taste buds. I’ve been coming to this spot for well over 10 years and it’s been a phenomenal experience each and every time. I have a pretty extensive and complicated order and they always deliver the food to me exactly as I ordered it. Overall I highly recommend La Piedad Taco Truck to anyone and everyone! It is a must try!!“

“I grabbed the spicy tender bowl with coleslaw and fries, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right kick of heat, the coleslaw was fresh and balanced everything out, and the fries were golden and crispy. Great portion size and fast, friendly service definitely coming back!“

They were both full of flavor with just the right amount of toppings to give it that extra kick of deliciousness that made my eyes open wide with pleasure during the first bite.Right at that moment I wished they were endless tacos. These were the best tacos I ever had!If you haven't visited...This is definitely a place to go for amazing tacos!I can't wait to go again.“

“As a strict vegetarian (no egg, no meat, no fish), we always look for food options when planning for a trip. We found this on the way to Tahoe. The food was really good and delicious. Best part is that it is all freshly prepared in the food truck. Do try Gobi manchurian chaat. Chloe bhature could have been a bit better but rest of the food was good. We ordered Parathas (paneer, mix, aloo), Saag (excellent!) and Rotis. We also ordered mix pakoras which were OK. Do try when in the area.
Vegetarian options: This is pure vegetarian place.
Parking: Lot of parking spots available“

“For my first time trying Hawaiian Food, this is comforting. Almost like a comfort food for relaxing. The “loco moco” food plate had macaroni, with rice, and the main course was a hamburger Pattie, topped with 2 sunny sided eggs, (disclaimer yes the yolk flows out) and I think more. Also to add a side of unknown substance that compliments the meal. Overall, definitely worth coming back. Preferably when it’s not cold, and during the summer.“
