“They do offer vegan items. They do offer juices, yet the combinations are misleading because they aren't proper food combining. Just because two items are good for certain organ it doesn't mean that if they are taking together they can be good for that organ. Many juice places do not offer proper food combining they're not nutritionist nor help coaches they just see what is good for a certain organ without realizing that they can know each other out. The workers were wonderful very generous happy and pleasant to be around. Really good prices. Nowhere in the store did it say that any of the vegetables or fruits were organic heads up. And nowhere in the store does it state that they do their fruits and vegetables separate area from actual meats so there can be bacteria from any kind of animal product unless it states otherwise. It was a nice experience and my carriages was delicious.“

“Great spot for a healthy bite in the heart of Santa Monica. It was my first time there and I had to kill some time and ordered a matcha and acai bowl while I did a little work. Both were great and the other food I saw leave the kitchen looked good as well.

The really great part about this place was the super friendly staff and what I assumed were the owners. They were super welcoming and it seemed like a lot of the patrons were regulars and well known to the staff.

It's nice to see a community like that in such a busy part of town. It shows the quality of a place when the residents embrace it and it becomes part of the fabric of a place.

When u get here you enter your phone number and every 10 visits you get a free smoothie so every 10 days I get a free smoothie. If you’re a coffee fanatic and love coffee you will love this place. The owner and all the workers are great. The atmosphere is amazing! The chairs are good and tables too! If you have some work and you want a good cup of coffee or a snack this is the place. I enjoy the superfood waffle and avocado toast. Also the espresso here is amazing. It’s in a great location right next to the gym and Home Depot. If I could I would stay here every day doing my work I love this place definitely checking out highly recommended. “The smoothie that I always love to drink is a Magic Bullet, full of organic nutrition and spirulina, a vegetable protein easy to digest... Spirulina has very thin cell walls making it a protein easiest of all proteins for the body to metabolize, very accessible for the human digestive system. “Introduced to this master juicer at its inception when I had an office for several years within walking distance. Recently visited and it has only gotten better, if that is possible. The G5, not the Gulfstream G550, was so well balanced with such in intense amount of nutrients, precisely so, you'd think you were gliding through blue sky's in a Gulstream G550. You don't have to, just stop by this place, show your body some love and sip away. No plastic, so return those bottles (we opt to clean them prior in plant powered dish soap) and play it forward for another day.

“Sooo…when I want to avoid fast food…Kathy’s Kitchen is my go-to spot for healthy food, fresh juice, grocery items, and healthy-ish snacks!

She has a smaller menu but, she has a couple menu items I really enjoy. I grab her to-go/pre-made meals like the jerk chicken and Jamaican meat patties (the Veggie patty is yummy too).

My elderly father loves getting her pre-made spaghetti. Fyi…the sauce is freekin’ good! He also always orders a peanut butter sandwich to-go. He could make it himself, but he says, “Don’t you see I’m retired?”

My absolute favorite is when she occasionally offers new items she is putting together like these Stuffed Mushroom Tacos and the various bowls.

So, the thing is…Kathy is super knowledgeable. She has a phenomenal understanding of food and health. She brings in seasonal produce and you can grab some basic fruits and veggies while you’re there (Avocados…yesss). A few weeks back, she had the best strawberries and peaches I had tasted in a long time.

She also has fresh squeezed juices and things like turmeric shots. So, it motivates me to stay focused on making better food choices to complement my exercise routine and health needs. It’s a more quaint place that kinda keeps me focused on eating the basics. I’m putting more fruits and veggies in my body daily than I have in a while.

Oh…lately, she has pre-cooked greens in her grocery fridge pretty often! It is sooooo nice to be able to eat good-tasting greens whenever I want.

I got some plantain with my bowl today and that’s gonna be my dessert.

Overall, Kathy’s Kitchen is an experience!
My whole family loves stopping by to pick stuff up and see what’s available that week.

It’s not really about having a gazillion processed options. Going there has made me more intentional about eating healthy. I also like supporting a small business in the way I’d want to be supported if I had one.

For me, it’s being able to go in and have people who care about what I’m putting into my body as much as I do.“
