It’s always a pleasure when I visit, I enjoy bringing people to experience it as well and they always love it too. The Frescas con crema is a MUST TRY!!! One thing outstanding about this particular location: the owner opted for paper towels in the restoom so you don't have to touch the dirty door handle to exit the restroom right before you handle your food. This has been a big pet peeve of mine even before covid....at any restaurant, but especially Subway where you eat your food with your hands! What are you other Subway owners thinking?”

“Absolutely blown away! I ordered the Candied Bacon Blast and it was, hands down, one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had—not just at The Sand Trap, but anywhere. The bacon was perfectly crispy with that sweet glaze, and the layers of flavor in every bite were unbelievable. It hit all the marks: savory, sweet, crunchy, and satisfying. If you haven’t tried this sandwich yet, you’re seriously missing out. Props to The Sand Trap—you knocked it out of the park with this one. I’ll be back for another very soon!”

“I stopped by this small Mexican restaurant, and it was such a nice surprise. It had a cozy, mom-and-pop feel, and the place was super clean. I ordered the Chilaquiles, and they were so good—the chips were crispy, and the red sauce had just the right amount of spice to give it a kick.

I also noticed they have a bakery in the back. The pastries looked amazing, and now I have a reason to come back and try them. Definitely a great little spot!”

“I just want to say thank you so much to the staff at this Starbucks location. I had received word yesterday morning that my aunt who lives there in town passed away and knowing that the family would all be getting together I wanted to see if I could have coffee provided for their gathering. I come from a large family I knew there would have to be a good amount of coffee so I called this location due to it being closest to my family’s home. I had the pleasure of talking to Mel and asked about the different options that were available to have the coffee catered. She was very knowledgeable of their products, and what would best meet the need. I had called about noon PST being that I live on the East Coast and had asked that it be ready by 3/4pm for pick up to which she stated they usually have to have 24 hour notice but when I had shared that it was going to be for a family gathering after the passing of my aunt they made it their priority to make sure they had it ready to go when a family member was able to pick it up. Upon arrival of my family member, they helped her load it into the vehicle and made sure that she was taken care of. In this day and age it’s so hard to find people who care enough to help in a strangers time of need but the amazing staff at this location definitely made a difference in being so attentive to my family. It may be just coffee to anybody else, but to me, growing up in a household where memories were cherished and shared over coffee and desserts, and being able to reminisce about good memories means the world to me and my family. Again thank you so much.”

I’m not sure if these bad reviews are talking about the same place I went, but “Mario’s Traditional Mexican Food” in Chowchilla, CA was absolutely amazing! The service, atmosphere and definitely the food were great.

We had a large party so Mario, himself, came to check on us. He made sure we had everything we needed. We wanted guacamole for our tortilla chips and he brought the ingredients to our table and showed us how he makes it and served it fresh! He took the time to speak to us which showed that it was deeper than just patronizing his business.

Mario is a great business owner, cook, server and overall all… a great person! I would recommend eating here 10/10. If I lived in Cali, this would be a weekly staple for my family.
