My dining companions and I sampled a good variety of their offerings. The pork cutlet curry rice and gurobuta curry rice were both absolute standouts. “Fast, Friendly, and Amazing. Don’t know how else to describe Golden Bay. Staff is kind and inviting. We received our appetizer and drinks fast. We ordered the Mongolian beef and Salt and Pepper chicken wings. The wings were moist, crunchy and packed with flavor. The Mongolian beef was soft but easy to tear. We order some fried rice on the side but we were so stuffed we decided to take it home. The portions were large and were more than enough for 2 people.“

“Stumbled upon this little restaurant in Miramar when I was in the area. Came in for a late lunch and the place was empty. There was a musty smell and I think it must be because the building is old. But the restaurant was clean and service was quick.

“This place is really good! Loved the fat little spicy sausages, the Lao salad, the crying tiger beef, the Mok fish and the heavenly jerky. So flavorful, warmly spicy but with lots of lemongrass and herbal flavors. Not a fancy place, but you can definitely feel the love.“

“This restaurant used to be Zen Asian Bistro. Some of the items, such as the Taiwanese Beef noodle soup, is still on the new menu. We don't know if it's the same cooks.
The portions are on the small side. They were a little bland but that might be because we ordered unbreaded chicken and vegetables as our proteins. Seems like quality and fresh ingredients were used.

The food is delicious and the service is always given with a smile and genuine, personal care for quality and a desire to give the customer what they expect when their order is made. “If you are gluten free this is your new favorite Thai restaurant. Most of the food is already GF (I knowww, right!?) and you can request GF for a whole lotta options. Drunken noodles (yes!), fried chicken (yes!), wings (yes!)... Most of the noodles dishes are available as gluten free. They have excellent cocktails and the vibe is cute and cozy with a San Diego type of chic mixed in. Nothing over the top, good and well made food, friendly staff and excellent conversations. 10/10 for new date night spot. They have also been around for many years! “🙌 Wow..! Max’s in Chula Vista is amazing. For starters, their service is impeccable. Got seated right away, very friendly servers. The food - I’m a first timer of Philippine food and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was made to perfection, and I was told all their food is made to order, which I could certainly tell by the quality of ingredients! Atmosphere - The whole restaurant had such a cool modern hip vibe to it - very chic and trendy. This is the kind of place where you want to experience something new and fresh to the area. Oh and they have some beer too! Philippino type beer of course which was pretty awesome, I had a nice lager that went well with my food. Very clean and well organized restaurant across the board.
