🙌 Wow..! Max’s in Chula Vista is amazing. For starters, their service is impeccable. Got seated right away, very friendly servers.
The food - I’m a first timer of Philippine food and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was made to perfection, and I was told all their food is made to order, which I could certainly tell by the quality of ingredients!
Atmosphere - The whole restaurant had such a cool modern hip vibe to it - very chic and trendy. This is the...read full review

Based on the reviews, Max's Restaurant Chula Vista offers cuisine of the Philippines. The food is excellent and the service is both friendly and fast. The staff are great, and the hospitality is genuine and heartfelt. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and the facility is very clean with a quiet ambiance. The signature chicken is juicy, flavorful, and perfectly crunchy all the way to the bone. Dishes like the rich, savory Laing and the iconic ‘sarap-to-the-bones’ fried chicken instantly take diners back to the Philippines. The kare-kare is rich and savory with that perfect peanut sauce, and the lechon kawali is crispy and properly seasoned. The sinigang na bangus is also liked. The garlic rice is the perfect side. However, there is NO Bagoong for Kare-kare. The price is a bit expensive, but it is understandable since it is in California. The wait time could be short or long, depending on how busy they are. If ordering online, make sure to call after ordering because they are using two systems, and sometimes it glitches.
