“I love Happy Eats. The staff is so sweet. These past few months I have visited often but, my most memorable visit was 5/11/25. We wanted to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and brought in a small desert and candles to sing happy birthday. The staff noticed and shortly treated ALL OF US (not just the birthday girl, like most places do) with their delicious cake. They also gifted her 2 beautiful bracelets. On top of their sweet act of kindness the staff was on it. They made sure we had everything we needed and continually checked on us. The following visit we made they remembered us and parts of our order. Again, they were super sweet and I witnessed the staff (I’m assuming dad and son) roll a man in a wheelchair to and from the bathroom. They continually stopped by the door to offer him help. They’re just so sweet! The food is delicious and the amount is very generous. Highly recommend trying the honeydew smoothie. The butterfly wall is a great photo opp. The umbrellas are also such a beautiful touch of decor. I love it all! The staff, the food, the atmosphere is a 10/10 👏👏“

“Went this afternoon with my 5 kiddos and they loved the Nutella & banana Quesadilla. I created my own regular one and it was delicious. Yummy food for a quick bite with kids. The variety of salsa option was wonderful too.“

“The service at this location has always been a great experience. We're greeted with smiles and you get to choose where to sit. On top of that the lunch specials are so worth it. For me, I always have left overs for later or the next day. Food is delicious!!“

“I am a foodie visiting Hanford from San Diego. I was very skeptical about this restaurant, however, I really wanted Mexican food and El Tarasco was one of the fiew open (outdoor dining tables). I was shocked with the quality I received. The chile rellenos are EXCELLENT (my benchmark----a fresh grilled pepper, high quality cheese, and not at all greasy). The margaritas were first-class, made in the restaurant rather than some inspid mix. They were $11 which is steep (especially for Hanford) but they are nearly twice the size of other, and they were served in a gorgeous Mexican hand blown glass. The servers were very friendly....always stopping to check if I needed anything. The only negative were the chips. They fry them there but I'm not keen on the actual tortilla they use......it didn't have a lot of flavor. This place is the real-deal winner. Bravo!“

Updated review 10.15.24, since it won't let me do another. Those Bacon Rancher sandwiches are so good. Family of 4 got the pick2 and we all got that and all happy ? the sides of Broccoli cheddar soup, tomato soup, the med chicken Cobb salad, & bac Mac n cheese were delightful as well. I pre-ordered early for a 630 pick up. Got email, as well as the board saying ready for pick-up. Everything was still hot in there when I got home & didn't miss an item, including all the proper utensils. Made for a clean dinner as no clean up needed.“

“Andrew was running the whole front handling all issues that were occurring from before he even arrived on shift all with a positive attitude and wonderful demeanor. If it wasn’t for him we would take the extra time to drive to a further away location. He was amazing!!!!!!“
