“Love it when I get to pass by Porterville because it means I get to eat a Habi. I am very picky about eating out, and Porterville is generally not know for its restaurants - but Habi stands above the rest. The closest competitors it has are Sushi Koo and Davorns (both in Visalia). Service is fast, food is great, and the price is right. I typically stick with a lunch bento box - which they have a great selection of including spicy chicken, spicy pork, and beef bulgogi.“

“Tokyo Bowl is Japanese fast food and is located near Marshall's in Porterville. The fried rice here is scrumptious and can be made with meat or without. We had chicken fried rice and loved every bite. The tempura rolls however, were too sweet. They tasted more like dessert because of the added sugar and they weren't what we're accustomed to. There is a large menu to choose from.“

“I saw some good reviews on this place on another website, so thought I'd give it a try. I'm just passing through town, staying overnight. The place was pretty empty apart from me and my buddy on a Thursday evening around 6:30. The host was friendly and attentive. Service was quick (as you would imagine with an empty restaurant). I ordered a sushi dinner and I must say it was quite delicious! They had multiple tv's on for you sports fans... So in summary, I had a nice relaxing and delicious dinner at this place and I would definitely come again. More people should come in and enjoy it!“
