“Michael David Winery offers a polished, commercial experience with a beautiful ambiance that makes it well worth the visit. The setting is elegant, with a welcoming atmosphere, and for the price, the experience feels very well-curated. Our tour guide, Danny, was exceptional, engaging, fun, and truly brought the tour to life with his energy and charm. Given the value and enjoyment, we’d gladly return and highly recommend it to others. It’s a wonderful spot that delivers a delightful experience without compromising quality.”
“The pizzas are amazing. I like how Guantonio’s use fresh local ingredients.”
Restaurants by Cuisine
“Komachi is ALWAYS the best place to go around San Joaquin Valley for sushi and other Japanese Cuisine. Their prices are right, the portions are great, the quality is always on point, the service is phenomenal and the flavor is second to none in SJC! The family-owned business has earned multiple awards year after year, and it only takes one visit to see why! Go try it out, and try the Starfire Roll, my personal favorite! I like to add Lemon on top, just my preference. Thanks Komachi!”
“I had the bistro filet and my wife had the steak diane. both were cooked, seasoned, and plated beautifully. the service was excellent and we weren't rushed at all. this is an awesome hidden gem of Lodi. make the reservation, it's well worth it.”

“This was my first time here. I am so happy they have gluten free bread! They can make any of their sandwiches on GF bread and they know exactly how to prepare their sandwiches when you are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease. The nice lady at the cash register also gave my granddaughter some snacks and juice while we waited. The service was excellent! They also carry gluten free desserts from Blessed Glutenless Bakery based in Lockeford. So glad I found this deli. I will definitely be going back!”

“The shop may be small, but they’re offerings are large. There’s a large assortment of items. Their scones are the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Whenever I visit Lodi, I always stop by and pick up some to take home. They freeze very well. The staff is very friendly And very helpful. They care about their customers And it shows and everything they do.”

“This restaurant and market is just down the street from my house. They were out of falafel so I ordered a standard gyro instead. It was delicious...all the ratios were perfect. I think this will become a regular spot for me. The dining area is a little dark but they can pack for takeout. Enjoy!
9/10/24 I returned for another gyro and they recommended I take home some of their rice. Any person would think, "it's only rice." Folks it's delicious! They season it and it's a perfect side. I'll return just for the rice.
Vegetarian options: In typical Mediterranean style they are many delicious vegetarian options to choose from.
Dietary restrictions: The market caters to an Eastern diet.
Parking: It's not a large lot.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp and you can cozy up to a table comfortably.”
“The restaurant was overall pretty well kept and clean. The server was super nice and offered miso soup on the house. Everything was great! I don't want to sound like a Karen, but the California roll did taste a little funky but other than that 10 out of 10 experience. Everybody was so friendly and my family had a good dinner”
“Went there for the first time on Monday. Had the "Caldo de Chacal Mixto". It was a pleasant surprise how good it was. Perfectly seasoned. It has one Chacal which is basically a giant prawn. It also had regular shrimp, octopus, and chunks of fish. It also comes with veggies like zucchini and carrots. We were provided hand made tortillas which is always a plus. They place is kind of small, but it wasn't crowded that day. We talked to the owner, and he's a very pleasant and attentive.”
“Grateful this place is near the truck stops. It's always good to be able to get a real meal, and not the standard fast food places truck drivers see all the time. The food was as others have stated, fast, hot, and fresh. Great service. There is literally a bell right up front you can ring if the employees aren't up front when you enter. I say that to refute the 1 star review of another driver who said the place doesn't like truck drivers. I think his name was Karen or something.”
“My favorite place for a unique Friday night. I got to know them during Lodi wine and chocolate festival and came back for family night and adult night. They also do goat yoga, yet to experience for me. During family night you get to spend time cuddling baby goats and the night ends with milk and cookies 🍪 Adult night comes with small bites and wine tasting. It’s such a fun time, I keep coming back. See calendar on their website for the next events”
“5 stars!! Phenomenal fresh & tasty seafood!!! Most unsuspecting of locations. They bring it every time!!! We'll be back.”

“I am their karaoke 🎤 DJ. We do it every Thursday night from 9 pm to about 1:30 am. This is my longest running show as I started doing this show in 2010 to present. It’s always a wonderful night.”
Takeout Restaurants
“This place was so cute, the atmosphere and the people were old school. The food was amazing. And even the customers that were most likely regulars, were so sweet making chit chat with my son and complimenting him. The portions were huge and the food was reasonably priced.”
“No matter what you order everything is so delicious. I recommend when they have weekly specials you try it because you won’t go wrong. Their soups are to die for!! There have been specials that I have had that they end up being my favorites when they are not on special. The food they serve is just like momma cooked yummy!!”
“I can't believe it's been 2 years since I started ordering from Frosted Flour! I usually get at least 5 or 6 cakes every year for my kids' birthdays and other special occasions, and they are always a big hit! My sister even loved their cakes so much that she ordered one for her wedding. I truly can't recommend them enough—hands down the best cakes around!”
“The people were very helpful and very polite. The food was hot and done early! I would absolutely come again!
Parking: There was plenty of available space near by.”

“So I've been on this sushi roll kick lately, but tonight I switched it up and tried their "Haru curry" stir fry. Dude, it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth! So freaking delicious and comforting, it was like a warm hug from the inside out. Only downside is that it didn't come with rice, but other than that, it's gonna be my new go-to dish for sure!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Chocolate hazelnut twist was incredible! That and a cappuccino and you're all set! 2 egg breakfast was amazing, the bacon was perfect and it's perfect to split with someone if your having pastries as well. Nice to see the new expansion as they were packed as always. Staff is great and it's always a good vibe 👍”
“One of the things you can even see in the photos is how much everything cooked here is done so in a relatively healthy way. Nothing is excessively greasy or oily. Helps everything to taste on the fresher side of things, which is the predominant impression upon eating the food here. Staff seems to appreciate their customers too.”
“Foods always spot on and delicious! Passed by this place several times in downtown Lodi and finally decided to give it a try. Servers are polite, ordering process is a breeze, and food gets out quickly. It is a little small inside with a condensed area of tables chairs, but luckily each time I've came, a table becomes available.”
“More proof that God exists and Loves us. Everything was perfection. My mouth is watering just thinking about this delicious food! We were there in October 2022, I had a Lengua and a Cabeza taco both supreme, and washed it down with a Jarritos Tamarind. I will definitely be back anytime I am anywhere near Lodi.”
“So great to work with. I needed a tank that was out of stock and they looked around to find me one at a shop in the bay area. Just really good customer service!”
“My wife and I went to China a few years back. We had an awesome trip! One of the best trips of my life.”

“Our band recently had the incredible opportunity to play at Idol Beer Works, and it was an absolute blast! Not only does Idol Beer Works boast an amazing brewery, but it also stands as the best music venue in the Central Valley. The atmosphere was electric, with a perfect blend of craft beer enthusiasts and music lovers coming together to create an unforgettable experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that both the performers and the audience had a seamless and enjoyable time. The sound quality was top-notch, allowing our music to resonate with the crowd in all its glory. We were truly impressed by the attention to detail in creating a space that celebrates both beer and live music. If you're looking for a place that combines exceptional brews with a vibrant music scene, Idol Beer Works is an absolute must-visit. Cheers to an unforgettable night of music and great beer! 🍻🎶 #IdolBeerWorks #CentralValleyMusicScene #CraftBeerMagic”
“If you're in Lodi, don’t miss out on a visit to Randy’s Bistro!. Their brunch and breakfast offerings are truly standout, making it the perfect way to kick off or wind down a day of wine tasting.
For those adventurous foodies, I highly recommend their Monday nights which brings a twist with a variety of international cuisines. Each week offering a different flavor that makes dining here an exciting experience.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Randy’s Bistro is bound to become your new favorite spot. Highly recommended!”
“So fun and delicious, our server Alisha was the best, super attentive to all of our needs. It was a busy breakfast morning and she took care of every table ✨ for the food, we had to try the soups (split pea and chicken tortilla), my favorite was the chicken tortilla, but split pea was good too :) depending on the mood. Ordered the huevos rancheros, and steak eggs. The steak was cooked perfectly, very delicious juicy and tender cut. We also got a Bloody Mary, also prepared exquisitely. So if you’re in town looking for a new place to try out, you can’t go wrong with the goodies here ✨”
“I was pleasantly surprised with the food here and now I know why there’s always at least one customer in line when we drive by! Well, it would’ve been 5 stars if I didn’t get terrible diarrhea after lol! ? I’m always eating spicy and ethnic food too, so it’s safe to say it’s probably this place. Still kinda worth it tho and I want to try it again.
We tried all these for around $20! (cash only btw):
* Carne asada, birria, al pastor tacos
* Al pastor burrito
* Pupusa
My partner didn’t like the way their Al pastor tastes, but luckily I did. Tacos are solid, my favorite was the carne asada! The burrito is hefty. The ingredients were all over the place tbh and it was tough to get through huge patches of only sour cream cheese LOL (not captured in my pics). And sadly a lot of space was taken up by tortilla folds too. But I liked it a lot.
The pupusa was unpleasant to me, but my partner ate it fine. Kinda tastes like a dry tamale. Very different from Cuban pupusas! Came with a little plastic wrap pouch of pickled pepper veggies and stuff.”
“My family had yet another amazing dinner at Pietro’s tonight (12/27). Our server, Eliziah was fantastic. Always a pleasure to dine here.”
