“This is just the sweetest, charming and delicious place. We love it here. The scones are amazing, the teas are tasting and it's a lovely atmosphere.”
“We are in town from the east coast on business and was told Guantonios was a must. Drove an hour to check it out and was not disappointed! Best meal I have had all year. 10/10”

“Very relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the concert. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was worried about using their porta potties but they had staff constantly cleaning them and restocking supplies. Their wine is delicious. They have good food trucks as well. Will be back!”
“Komachi is ALWAYS the best place to go around San Joaquin Valley for sushi and other Japanese Cuisine. Their prices are right, the portions are great, the quality is always on point, the service is phenomenal and the flavor is second to none in SJC! The family-owned business has earned multiple awards year after year, and it only takes one visit to see why! Go try it out, and try the Starfire Roll, my personal favorite! I like to add Lemon on top, just my preference. Thanks Komachi!”
“The tasting was everything we hoped for. We brought our grandmother, who is in her 80s, to join us (we’re members), and the staff could not have been more gracious. We hadn’t anticipated the cold weather and needed a warm, comfortable spot for her—something the team accommodated without a moment’s hesitation.
The Michael David staff truly exceeded our expectations, especially our wine steward, Vanessa. She was attentive, thoughtful, and so in tune with making sure my grandmother was comfortable throughout the visit.
Thank you for such genuine care. Experiences like this are exactly why we’re proud to be members.”

“I’ve fallen in love with this place. The first time my husband and i came, we noticed the customer service wasn’t there but we took into consideration it was very busy. So that’s understandable. But we gave it another chance and i believe we met the owner & she was very sweet & very welcoming. The Mazapan latte with oat milk is the best. The Mexican culture is very beautiful as well. I’d recommend this place over Starbucks, Dutch bros.”
“Stopped in town to buy a camping trailer and found this little gem from their reviews. Cute little cottage diner feel right on the corner! We found something from the brunch menu (they don't have a full menu on Sundays). I'm guessing it was the owner who came out and offered to make us something better. The service was impeccable and the food, delicious. Especially they're berry sauce. Will definitely stop again”
“I had the bistro filet and my wife had the steak diane. both were cooked, seasoned, and plated beautifully. the service was excellent and we weren't rushed at all. this is an awesome hidden gem of Lodi. make the reservation, it's well worth it.”
“Been a while since I'd been in... But my Blue Burger and Blue fries were even better than I remembered. I'm not a big beer drinker, but the hard cider on tap was excellent...!! I got a growler to go.”
“Been wanting to check out this spot for years. Small intimate spot in a corner shopping plaza. Walking in, you can tell this sushi spot is surrounded by locals. We seated right away. The young waitress explained the special for the day and answered any questions we had regarding menu items. We ordered the special fried shishito peppers. Sorted veggie tempura + a dragon 🐉 roll to share. 1 Udon and 3 Ramen soup. More than enough food. Roll was definitely on the smaller size/portion. Really came here for the ramen and it did not disappoint. I'll be back soon.”

“So tired of paying big bucks for food that tastes like cardboard. But California Al’s did not disappoint. Absolutely the best burger in Lodi❗️ Large portions, EXCELLENT flavor. Fresh handmade burger patty with all the trimmings. Great service as well, waitress was very attentive and personable. Saw people with huge breakfast platters as well, everything looked amazing. My new favorite place❣️”

“This place was phenomenal especially for the price big scoops of protein lots of options. The price had gone up and the scoops have gotten smaller. Rewards are hot and miss I have spent $70 and received one point but they don’t tel you that. Of you have multiple bowls to multiple transactions. Also I did a Instagram promotion and they changed their mind and I lost my reward 🙄. Staff is always late teens young adults mostly nice some are better than others. Still a solid place .”
“Good food, good service, and picturesque patio where you can enjoy your brunch while watching people stroll by..what more can you want?”
“My favorite place for a unique Friday night. I got to know them during Lodi wine and chocolate festival and came back for family night and adult night. They also do goat yoga, yet to experience for me. During family night you get to spend time cuddling baby goats and the night ends with milk and cookies 🍪 Adult night comes with small bites and wine tasting. It’s such a fun time, I keep coming back. See calendar on their website for the next events”

“By far the best taco truck in Lodi. The food is always so flavorful and the salsas are next level. The birria, tacos, and quesadilla are my favorites. The tortillas are far superior to other Lodi taco trucks. The service is top notch as well. They are always friedly. I love that I can order ahead as well on DoorDash for pick up or have it delivered.”
“Little hole in the wall place with good food and a super nice woman running the front. Our mains were very flavorful, meats were tender, and the veg still had some crunch. We ordered 1 app, 2 mains, 3 combos, and tea for under $90 and we all had enough leftovers to make another meal. Not everything was great, pork fried rice and chow main lacked flavor and the garlic chicken had no garlic, but it was a fantastically fried piece of very tender chicken. We will definitely go back.”
“The service was slow at first for a tasting but we eventually had a host that spent time with us. You do have to pay for a tasting - $30. Instead of paying $60 for 2 tastings, he asked if we wanted to buy a bottle of the wine we liked for $50. That was a no brainer.”
“Pay yourself in sushi! Here's why...
See, I've been told by an esquire, that when you budget, you pay yourself first, before the other required expenses. Sooooo, I pay myself with sushi sometimes. This is acceptable, yeah, cuz either I try to save $25, which would eventually get spent anyway, or use it on something valuable.
The value of sushi or sashimi with vegetables, is that it contains your alphabet Vitamins A, B, C, and D; plus, the greatly beneficial Omega-3. In addition to those benefits, getting a bento box combo with chicken gives you more protein for building muscle. This array of vitamins and protein sources provides satiety. It's an ideal meal for gym goers and maybe health enthusiasts; or like me a part-time dog walker.
Alright, now that you've heard me out and possibly have known all this before, then, yeah have brunch, lunch, or dinner here at Matsuyama. They're conveniently located around the corner from the gym. Perfect for you! ...and also, it beats having to look for a different parking space. Just walk, you know. The shopping plaza has a great coffee shop too.
Once they open, it's nice and quiet so you get fast service with individualized attention. They're calm and check on you frequently enough. Simple conversation, and a peaceful meal; peaceful like it would be on a pine mountain (Matsuyama).”

“My wife and I went to China a few years back. We had an awesome trip! One of the best trips of my life.”
“The Phantom of the Opera event was my first time at Harmony. The intention, beauty and creativity layered into to the art, wine and music made the whole night feel a bit magic. I felt like I’d been invited into the home of a family who’s created an incredibly beautiful life. I’m already excited for next month!”

“No matter what you order everything is so delicious. I recommend when they have weekly specials you try it because you won’t go wrong. Their soups are to die for!! There have been specials that I have had that they end up being my favorites when they are not on special. The food they serve is just like momma cooked yummy!!”
“This place was so cute, the atmosphere and the people were old school. The food was amazing. And even the customers that were most likely regulars, were so sweet making chit chat with my son and complimenting him. The portions were huge and the food was reasonably priced.”

“Great food great lattes AMAZING SUGAR BUNS. stayed for a while with a friend only downside was we were talking for a bit over our brunch and a worker came and asked to clear our dishes or get us a box for takeaway and then after that kind of lingered waited for us to leave. I thought that was kind of rude because the place wasn’t even that busy and most tables were empty.”
“The BEST BAKERY in LODI! Legacy Bakery! We love everything that comes from here😍 We did a special order TRES LECHES with strawberry filling ( photo image cake ) for my sons 6th Birthday they did AMAZING & it was so delicious. “Best gyro in Lodi… seen a few others pop up around Lodi here and there…The owner cares about the customers and the gyro was fantastic. The chicken combo was delicious and all the flavours compliment each other flawlessly. The portion was worth the price. Good authentic Mediterranean food!”
“Amazing service, friendly and chill environment, the staff is always friendly and make me laugh, always a great start to my day! I get the Java Rush shake with coffee swirl and the peach mango tea, but there’s tons of different, delicious, and healthy choices of shakes and teas! 10/10 recommend for all your meal replacement needs!”
“The staff was super friendly and quick, and my order was ready right on time. The pizza was fresh, delicious, and made exactly how I requested. I love how convenient it is to just bake it at home when I’m ready. Always a great experience at this location—definitely my go-to for pizza night!”
“Visited MDW after having breakfast at the Cafe--reserved and received a great tasting experience with Curtis who was so knowledgeable and very friendly that we joined (another) club. Thanks for pouring for us. Afterwards, we enjoyed a bottle on the patio under the big tree.”
“Delicious father's day lunch! Always so fresh and tasty, great service too!
We orded the Sacramento roll, Golden Gate roll, crazy crazy roll, spicy tuna roll & gyoza. Very reasonably priced.”
“So great to work with. I needed a tank that was out of stock and they looked around to find me one at a shop in the bay area. Just really good customer service!”

“Our band recently had the incredible opportunity to play at Idol Beer Works, and it was an absolute blast! Not only does Idol Beer Works boast an amazing brewery, but it also stands as the best music venue in the Central Valley. The atmosphere was electric, with a perfect blend of craft beer enthusiasts and music lovers coming together to create an unforgettable experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that both the performers and the audience had a seamless and enjoyable time. The sound quality was top-notch, allowing our music to resonate with the crowd in all its glory. We were truly impressed by the attention to detail in creating a space that celebrates both beer and live music. If you're looking for a place that combines exceptional brews with a vibrant music scene, Idol Beer Works is an absolute must-visit. Cheers to an unforgettable night of music and great beer! 🍻🎶 #IdolBeerWorks #CentralValleyMusicScene #CraftBeerMagic”
“I was pleasantly surprised with the food here and now I know why there’s always at least one customer in line when we drive by! Well, it would’ve been 5 stars if I didn’t get terrible diarrhea after lol! ? I’m always eating spicy and ethnic food too, so it’s safe to say it’s probably this place. Still kinda worth it tho and I want to try it again.
We tried all these for around $20! (cash only btw):
* Carne asada, birria, al pastor tacos
* Al pastor burrito
* Pupusa
My partner didn’t like the way their Al pastor tastes, but luckily I did. Tacos are solid, my favorite was the carne asada! The burrito is hefty. The ingredients were all over the place tbh and it was tough to get through huge patches of only sour cream cheese LOL (not captured in my pics). And sadly a lot of space was taken up by tortilla folds too. But I liked it a lot.
The pupusa was unpleasant to me, but my partner ate it fine. Kinda tastes like a dry tamale. Very different from Cuban pupusas! Came with a little plastic wrap pouch of pickled pepper veggies and stuff.”
“When I moved out of state for five years Dragon Lite was the only place I thought of at least monthly. I’ve been going there for 20 years and the quality has never wavered. Lemon Chicken with extra sauce, steamed rice, and fried asparagus 10/10 you’ll never have anything better. Family owned and Operated, they only take one day off a week. It’s a quiet little hole in the wall, perfect for take out.”
“Just absolutely love this place! The food is great and love the beer choices!”

“Texas toast tastes like a hot dog bun that hasn’t been cut in half- 1/10 French fries are soggy and way too salty- 2/10 Chicken is juicy and tender with a decent amount of crisp. If you’ve never had the back room chicken tenders (the puritan) they’re pretty good. If you have, they’re mid- 6.5/10 The sauce although has a decent flavor it has a weird spicy tang that goes away almost immediately- 6/10 Overall value I’ll give a strong 7. 13 bucks with a drink from a “fast food” joint is pretty cheap although I could eat 3 of these combos”
