Characteristic location. Excellent welcome. I ate the usual American "burgerazzo" and it was excellent. If you are in the area and sleep there, it is definitely a place I recommend.
I visited this place late at night with a friend. We shared the appetizer bowl which consisted of mozzarella sticks, fish sticks, chicken tenders and jalapeño poppers. Great stuff.I decided to go with the "Black Rock" for my meal. It basically is a bacon cheeseburger with a side of homemade chili beans and homemade BBQ sauce. 10/10 would go again. Mt. Whitney really exceeded our expectations. I give the food 3 stars only because it's basically what you'd expect at a diner/grill--but I have to say I really liked that they nailed the basics. I ordered the fried chicken dinner and it was a lot of food -- salad, 4 pieces of chicken not at all small like another review stated), potato options and a veggie. My partner order the pulled pork and loved it. The service was very friendly. I recommend.
