This place is very popular, good Chinese food, friendly staff. Had teriyaki rice bowl and was very flavorful. Has limited seating so please call to reserve table or walk up to a staff to reserve. Or you will have to wait longer to be seated. The wait is worth the quality of food.
Was on the way back from death valley and stopped in Lone Pine for a Dinner, ended up having dinner here at Merry Go Round. My wife and daughter are gluten sensitive and it's hard to find a Chinese place that offers gluten free options. Was pleasantly surprised that the chief can make most dishes on the menu gluten free. The food is quite an amazing thing - very well flavored and authentic. The orange peel chicken was crispy and not too sweet. The staff were amazing and told us about the interesting history of the building. Owned and operated by the cutest couple. I would make a special trip to come back here, 10/10 recommend.
