“If you want to have breakfast at the Alabama Hills Cafe, get there early because they get busy. Once you eat here, you understand why. First, the staff!!! They are all some of the nicest people. Even when busy, they are checking to make sure you have everything you need. The food. We have had both breakfast and lunch here several times and we always got their peach blackberry iced tea. So good. For breakfast, their French Toast that’s the special for the day is an absolute must! Always amazing!! Their skillets are also so good. My husband got the Breakfast BLT regularly. They have a couple vegetarian options, both of which I have had and both are delicious. Their fresh fruit as a side was one of my favorite sides. Not your typical fresh fruit side that can be hit or miss. It was good every time. For lunch, the Roast Beef Melt on their fresh baked jalapeno cheddar bread *chefs kiss* Superb! Their wraps are also a good choice. You really can’t go wrong with anything your order. It all tastes fresh and homemade. Some dishes are large and can be shared or taken home to be enjoyed later. Now for their little pastry counter. Get one of everything. Absolutely obsessed! The cinnamon rolls ? Their coffee cake ? If you don’t get everything, get one of something.Alabama Hills Cafe is hands down our favorite place in Lone Pine. Now that my husband is not working in the area, we haven’t been in about a year. We miss this place and the people and we talk about it often.“
“My husband and I ate at Seasons Restaurant in Lone Pine on a recent trip. We were impressed with the hostess, waiter, and the food. We needed a special diet and all concerned gave us help to be sure that our goal was met. Additionally, everyone was nice.Dietary restrictions: Just ask the waiter, ours gave suggestions for our dietary needs. The meal was very good, everything was cooked just right and very flavorful.“
“We had dinner at the grill and we had a wonderful time. We called ahead to make reservations, but it didn't seem like it was needed as they were not very busy. But the people who work there do say that they do get busy at times so reservations might be recommended. I had the pesto chicken pasta, and it was very good and huge! I have enough leftovers to probably feed three people. My kids had the butter pasta with Parmesan cheese. The one thing that would cause this to be better. Would an option to add on a protein on the side or a fruit cup. But they were very happy with their meal. My husband had the blackened chicken sandwich, and he had no complaints as well. The service was amazing and fast. The gentleman who helped us was very attentive and nice. The restaurant is a little small, but it was very clean and comfortable.“
“Staff was friendly and made the best pizza. Yes I said Pizza. The Pizza was delicious and better than dominos or pizza hut could ever dream of being. The two workers were very kind and gave us some cookies on the house! Due to a long wait time. Thank you so much. Appreciate the kind pgesture.“
“This place is amazing. I had the filet mignon with Gorgonzola sauce and a salad. The steak was tender and cooked a perfect medium just as I’d ordered. The Gorgonzola sauce was creamy and full of flavor. The ranch dressing on the salad was homemade. We also had apple pie which was fantastic and homemade.“
“Stopped here on the way to Mammoth. The ladies here were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a custom made sandwich and it was so good. The sauce they added was a pesto that they make that was really tasty. The place is pretty quiet. A nice place to stop and get a quick bite.“
“After a long night of working, day of going to the dog park, or just a drive through this small and quaint town, Carl's Jr doesn't disappoint with their fresh, made-to-order food. Their rewards app is a God send because of the points that I am able to build up and get a free treat or burger on a whim. The attendants are amazing, friendly, and takes their job seriously by listening and getting your order right...usually the first time for me, esp with my multiple food allergies.Sometimes, I find a little surprise of a cookie that makes my lonely days feel a little brighter. They make me feel like family, and I hope my interactions have shown them my appreciation of what they do.I recommend stopping while finding your way to this little, hole in the wall town of Lone Pine.Dietary restrictions: They are very conscientious of what the customer orders and focus on what is asked of them to not add.Parking: There are plenty of parking spots for regular-sized vehicles with street parking to the side and across in front of the park which is a beautiful place to enjoy your order and scenery. Truckers can find graveled parking to the other side but with a limited parking time. They also have a Shell gas station as an additional area to park, pump, and pickup food!!!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp at the front of the restaurant with wide enough space to move around the seating and ordering areas including a handicapped stall in the bathrooms.“
“Great food and hard working staff! Last Monday when the power was out they stayed open and fed as many as they could until fading light and a build up of smoke in the kitchen caused them to close. In those conditions we enjoyed the chicken fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes along with a nice green salad and the draft beer was nice and cold. The staff was patient, friendly, and working like crazy.“
“The food is quite an amazing thing - very well flavored and authentic. The orange peel chicken was crispy and not too sweet. The staff were amazing and told us about the interesting history of the building. Owned and operated by the cutest couple. I would make a special trip to come back here, 10/10 recommend.“
