“We stopped at this food truck to get tacos for dinner when in Lone Pine and we were pleasantly surprised. You can get your food to go or there a couple tables in front of the truck where you can sit and enjoy it. They were out of the shrimp tacos. We got three tacos each couple asada, couple adovada, one carnitas and one chicken and all of them were delicious and filled us up. The red and green salsas were spicy but adding a few drops in each enhanced the flavors. Highly recommend giving them a try when in the vicinity.“

“Arrived late Friday night. We were sitted served immediately. The ambiance is great, the resturant is built inside the structure of an old marry go round. The big surprise was the food. Extremelly delicate, large portion, vegetable were cook crispy. Price for me are extremely honest for the amount of food provided. Two dishes could serve 4 people. Price of the beer was great ($5 for an IPA). Now this is on my radar going or back from Mammuth.“

“What a lovely little spot at the edge of Mount Whitney in the town of Lone Pine. Don’t overlook this wonderful gem because not only is the customer service so friendly they welcome dogs on their patio and that’s the sign of a great restaurant!“

“Our server Jay was the best! I expected the food to be good and it did not disappoint. It wasn't Michelin grade but very delicious with complex flavors. The view (as we knew as we've been here before) is unbeatable. Will keep coming back. Very good choice for before theatre dining“

“When in Lone Pine we got pizza for dinner one night and we couldn’t have asked for more. They have seating indoors and in the patio. We got a small pizza. We seen the dough being rolled and tossed in air and then being transformed into the pizza of our choice. It was delicious and one of the tastiest pizzas we’ve eaten. Highly recommended.“

“Who would have known that a random truck would have some of the best fish tacos!? After getting a recommendation from a friend, this is my new go to when driving up to Mammoth from SoCal. If you can call 10 minutes or so ahead, you can have the tacos ready when you arrive.
This time I tried both the fish and shrimp tacos and both were delicious. The fish is my favorite and it’s lightly fried to a crispy golden brown. Both the tacos are covered with fresh pico and cilantro and you get mild and medium salsas on the side. I heard the owner drives up to Reno to get fresh seafood and you can definitely tell, this is high quality stuff. At $3 a taco, this is an extremely great deal. The staff is super friendly and accommodate my family members who don’t like cilantro with no problem. Highly recommend to stop here and support this local business on your drive along the 395!“
