10 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Lone Pine

“Who would have known that a random truck would have some of the best fish tacos!? After getting a recommendation from a friend, this is my new go to when driving up to Mammoth from SoCal. If you can call 10 minutes or so ahead, you can have the tacos ready when you arrive.

This time I tried both the fish and shrimp tacos and both were delicious. The fish is my favorite and it’s lightly fried to a crispy golden brown. Both the tacos are covered with fresh pico and cilantro and you get mild and medium salsas on the side. I heard the owner drives up to Reno to get fresh seafood and you can definitely tell, this is high quality stuff. At $3 a taco, this is an extremely great deal. The staff is super friendly and accommodate my family members who don’t like cilantro with no problem. Highly recommend to stop here and support this local business on your drive along the 395!“

“Quaint little spot nestled next to the lone pine budget inn, right off of main street. We had a carne asada burrito and carne asada tacos. The burrito was extremely fat and meat authentic. The tacos were excellent and loaded to the brim with meat. Good spot for authentic mexican street cuisine.“

However, the food. The food was the most delicious Chinese I've ever eaten! It came out fast, hot, and plenty of it for the price! We'll be back every time we come up here!“

“Came here for breakfast. One young lady running the front show taking all the orders, delivering all the food and running the register. So we had to wait 15 minutes to order, but the food was made fresh including blueberry pancakes, breakfast burrito and biscuits. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were different than I had before, but delicious. Great salsa with the burrito. Overall good meal. Most plates were $15-20 and sides were $7-8.“

“Their pizzas are fresh and delicious and crispy bottom/outside yet soft dough including the outer crust. Nobody left their crust, everything was eaten. Salad bar had the basics but nothing fancy. Some youngsters working the register and did not know how to ring up drinks or use the credit card machine. Forgot 1 of the toppings on the pizza but then have it to us on the side. I would come back here for the food.“
