“Everything about this place is awesome! Ishmael helped us and his whole vibe was chill (in the best way possible) and kind. The tea was wonderful and the food was delicious - so.much.food. My only adjustment to the whole experience would be to turn by one quarter how people are seated at the tables. My daughter sat with her back to the door and I was facing her. The glare from outside was pretty bright so I wore my sunglasses most of the time. We probably should have just taken it upon ourselves to scoot around.“

“It is worth it to come here for the HH (4-7 p.m. Monday to Thursday) and enjoy the beautiful sunset view. If you are visiting (not an overnight guest), there is an additional admission fee to enter the cruise (discounted to $15 at 6 p.m.). The cocktails were exactly what you’d expect at a touristy bar - so I wouldn’t come here for any culinary innovation. But the cruise is worth checking out if you are a fan of the art deco designs.“

“My buddies and I stumbled upon this little bar by chance. We were the only “gringos” there, but we were welcomed as if by old friends. They women who tended bar and served us were gracious hosts. The bartenders are really nice, it’s a great crowd of people that u can feel at ease with and the drinks are delicious. “The Exhibition Room is located inside Roxanne's. We often go to Roxx bc they have good food and drinks. The juice is freshly squeezed, which makes a great cocktail!
We always get the beef sliders and the herb fries (can't rmbr what they are called) plus a big pile of nachos.“

Hogged the pool table with a diverse group of male & female challengers.Neighborhood bar for all with the atmosphere y'all gravitate towards...dance, prance & romance if that's what you're after (or not!)
My one beef was wthe bartender at closing. I'm aware of his responsibilities to get us out when everyone's feeling no pain @2 am. Closing....not an easy job!
Perhaps one can attribute his fatigue & impatience trying to get us the hell out that resulted in my perceived rude encounter with El Jefe right at the end of a fun evening. Tone & attitude translate, my friend. Ya gotta be firm but not antagonistic.👹
I tipped 50% for 3 drinks at 11 per.

“Lynn and Laurel would not stop talking about Angel’s Share, and the FOMO was real!!! So I grabbed my boyfriend and rushed over to check out their Christmas theme and cocktails. We had a reservation but arrived a little early and asked the hostess if we could just sit at the bar instead. She said no problem at all. We came in around 6:30pm, which might be an odd sweet-spot time, because we were able to snag a couple of bar seats right away! The entire place is fully decked out for the holidays, super cozy, festive, and so cute. They’re currently running a special holiday cocktail menu, so we ordered from that. Rachel was behind the bar and took great care of us despite how busy it was.

I started with a Classic Old Fashioned and followed it up with a Smoked Old Fashioned both great choices. My boyfriend ordered the Old Fashioned and Making Christmas, and I have to say, his drink was actually really good!

Angel’s Share is small and gets very busy, so I highly recommend making a reservation. If you’re planning to eat here, just know the food menu is limited and food can take a while. We had already eaten and came mainly for drinks, but my boyfriend ordered onion rings to snack on. I tried them, but they were falling apart and not really my thing. For me, Angel’s Share is perfect for a festive, post-dinner cocktail or a quick drink with friends but not necessarily a spot I’d choose to dine at. Great atmosphere, fun seasonal cocktails, and definitely worth a visit during the holidays.“

“Pleasantly surprised to have this experience of flavor, ambiance and service. We normally go to Nico’s or Marlena because of its consistency of flavor and location to home. Viaje is the equivalent and then some. The chef is from Mexico City and is the real deal. The food, starting off with the ceviche 9/10, ribeye appetizer 10/10, branzino 10/10 and then the dessert of the tres leches 10/10. Ok, so you don’t quite believe me, well, try 11/10 for the consume broth for the lamb appetizer!! David was our server recommended we just try the broth since we were so full. We were dipping tortilla chips into the broth like little kids it was so good!! It didn’t matter how full be were!

Food all came out timely and together nice and hot. It’s rare to have everything taste that good from start to finish. Price may be an obstacle for most, but doesn’t break the bank like a Michelin Star place. Viaje is one of those restaurants that need to stay on 2nd St…it is the very best on that strip if not all of Long Beach.“

If all dishes as flavorful as the Lamb” Secco” Then YES Not cheap , but If I am spending $40-50 person ,the food had Better taste like this. Also good: basic Margherita Pizza. You cannot have a conversation because the sound echos so loudly and when the staff moves tables around they drag it along the tile and all of the tables have to stop and wait till they are done to be able to speak again with your table.“
