“Baby Gee is by far the best place in Long Beach to get cocktails! Not only is Giana an amazing owner, she has created an outstanding menu of cocktails and mocktails and also hired a crew that is knowledgeable, friendly and above all, makes great drinks!“

“It is worth it to come here for the HH (4-7 p.m. Monday to Thursday) and enjoy the beautiful sunset view. If you are visiting (not an overnight guest), there is an additional admission fee to enter the cruise (discounted to $15 at 6 p.m.). The cocktails were exactly what you’d expect at a touristy bar - so I wouldn’t come here for any culinary innovation. But the cruise is worth checking out if you are a fan of the art deco designs.“

“The Exhibition Room is located inside Roxanne's. We often go to Roxx bc they have good food and drinks. The juice is freshly squeezed, which makes a great cocktail!
We always get the beef sliders and the herb fries (can't rmbr what they are called) plus a big pile of nachos.“

My one beef was wthe bartender at closing. I'm aware of his responsibilities to get us out when everyone's feeling no pain @2 am. Closing....not an easy job!
Perhaps one can attribute his fatigue & impatience trying to get us the hell out that resulted in my perceived rude encounter with El Jefe right at the end of a fun evening. Tone & attitude translate, my friend. Ya gotta be firm but not antagonistic.👹

“Been to this bar since it was Ferns then the Bird and now the hideout, I love how it looks now when it was Ferns it was smelly dirty they didn't keep up with the bar or restrooms seemed like homeless ppl were there all the time, they've changed it so much it seems bigger spacious smells clean it's organized well attented enjoy the DJ very much there's a good space to dance and hang out, alcohol prices are good they even have happy hour well worth it. They don't sell food, but there are many spots in the area to grab a bite.“

“This is an exceptional restaurant. I had a pasta with corn in the sauce and it was incredible. The texture was phenomenal and the kernels were crispy and fresh. We also had some of the drinks and they were all great. This restaurant also sits in a stylish boutique hotel. Highly recommend!“

“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

“Wow! This is a hidden gem! Had a few hours until our flight out of Long Beach. Found this amazing spot for a coffee and was absolutely blown away by the owner(Shannon) and the menu! We ordered 2 coffees a sandwich and a cinnamon roll. The coffees were amazing, the owner made me a custom coffee. I asked for 'Something Sweet' and the drink was so good we ordered a 2nd one. Cinnamon roll was hot, sweet, and cream cheese frosted. Licked the bowl clean! Breakfast Sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was so tasty! We will plan our future trips to this Airport just to have this coffee and cinnamon roll again! 10/10! Oh and the reggae music jamming is the vibe!!“

“I both love and loathe gentrification. In the case of this bar, I loathe gentrification, if only for the increased prices in drinks. Staff is great. However, the bar fights used to be entertaining, but those don't happen anymore. That's a bit depressing.“

They always let me charge up myt scooter while I have a beer. Otherwise I will not make it home. And some days it's not a laughing matter. It's that close of a call. The bartender seems nice. “I don’t know if they serve food, don’t really care because it’s a bar so they have all the things I’m looking for. The bartenders are really nice, it’s a great crowd of people that u can feel at ease with and the drinks are delicious. I like the location because it’s by all business that close early so there’s plenty of parking at night. There’s a Mexican food taco stand on the corner if u get hungry. They have a clean and well lit outside area for smokers. I thought it was a great bar in Long Beach“

I havent eaten beef in a decade, unsure but had a taste for it today. 🤩 We shared all the goodness, short rib pizzzzzzza, BBQ scrumptious and so juicy burger, along with the poke tostada, which was piled high with aoli and fresh tartar.

The staff sets this place apart, all are welcoming, inviting and make you feel like your neighbors, including recommendations that melt in your mouth. Had to get a piece of swag memorabilia ie; truckers hat.....so much gratitude. Then the 5 of us went different directions for our mains, but my Squid Ink Linguini was top notch! Our server this evening was Chase K. He did excellent and we would love to come back here. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and patient with us while we were deciding what to order and asking questions about the menu. We chose a Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza, and Baby Bros Potatoes. Everything was delivered to our table popping hot. The Pizza was top notch with no runny sauce, crust wasn't hard or rubbery, and all that gooey delicious cheese. The potatoes were very tasty and the portion size was huge. Definitely glad we took the recommendation from those locals as we were not disappointed in the food, staff or atmosphere.“

“Nice restaurant and location on the harbor, food is really flavorful, had filet special and mahi mahi (a tad fishy) and heavy on the carbs/mashed potatoes for the price. Cocktails oK but nothing special and did not like the huge ice ball in my old fashion, took up the whole class, again for the price not a good value and added orange slice not muddled in the drink. Wife and I split a calamari appetizer with another couple and had 2 meals and 3 drinks was $150 before tip! Have dined here several times over the years and really like the restaurant, but this time I feel like we overpaid. Maybe just drinks and appetizers on the deck next time.“

The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“

We went Saturday night 11-9-2024 to see the tribute band Live Forever a tribute to Oasis and what a show so good the singer nails it it was like Liam was right there in the flesh. The bartenders are top notch very attentive always making sure you don't have an empty drink. And they know How to pour and me she drinks properly. The owner is a cool guy and old skate boarder he's not that old but he was telling me about the bad it's a family business very cool guy. Its a fun hang all the people in there were nice. The band that night WOW great tribute to Oasis. I hope the GOOD BAR has them back. Go and support this Bar our small business owners need us.“
