“I've been coming here for over a year now and they never disappoint. My husband and I love the breakfast burrito. I like that they put tater tots in the burrito instead of hash browns because the potatoes are super crispy. The owner already knows what I am going to order when I walk in. That says a lot as well! “For a fast food joint this Carl's Jr location is probably the best one in a 20 mi radius. The staff and management are great, I go there for their specials that are advertised in the window. It's not budget friendly if you go and buy everything a menu price, but the specials they have in the window are awesome and absolutely affordable. Inside is clean the bathrooms are clean, the environment is very well maintained. The staff cares about how your experience goes while you're eating there and it shows, expect nothing but respect and a great atmosphere along with a great word ethic that shows on the quality of food they serve. On 8/22/23 approximately 6:29:17 PM I went to the front to order and Manny greeted me with a great smile and so welcoming. I'm aware there is a new owner taking over the store. Sir, I want you to know how grateful I am to be not only respected but greeted in such a Profesional manner. To be quite frank with you not everyone there has a happy welcoming demeanor, but Manny exceeded that but then again I can see why.. i read on his tag that he is a "team leader" well done boss for his promotion I'm sure it was well earned. “I've been passing this for year's... meaning too try it... well today I had time on my hand and wanted whole chicken wings... which a lot of places ... only do those party wings ... I don't like the partywings... the best part of the wing, to me is the little tip... man I love it... I wish some place would sale the fried chicken feet, necks & gizzards... maybe one day ???... but back too this place... if you blink you're miss this spot... it's a hidden gem... the season is on point... these are some of the pretty golden brown, juicy wings ... I've had from an fish & chicken spot... if you're in the mood for some close too home cooked chicken... this is you're place... they also have party wings... if that's you're thing ... check this place out... you will not be disappointed ... it is worth the trip... everything is cooked too order and it's take out only... but so worth all that ... “One of my favorite go to spots. I've been going to for years for some of the best teriyaki on the Northside of Long Beach. I even switch it up. An order my favorite dish from them and it's not on the menu. I've suggested it to them to add on the menu and name it after me lol jk. The chicken teriyaki fries with extra cheese and grilled onions. Don't knock it til you've tried it. Promise you that you will be back for them. Thank me later.“

I got the chicken mixed bowl, slow roasted chickpeas & potatoes, and a dark chocolate cashew pudding. Yum! FYI, Ben’s Fast Food is at a “food locker” location - it’s decently easy to find and the pick-up process is simple. I definitely recommend this place and I plan to order from here more! “Shared an "everything" breakfast burrito (what my hubby calls it) and had a coffee and soda on the side. The best breakfast burrito. Always fresh salsa goes inside of a warm flour tortilla filled with bacon, sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, and hash browns topped with cheese. With sour cream and guacamole on the side. The coffee is old school good. It's just a good drip brew, cream, and sugar. Free refills while eating too on both the coffee and soda.“

“The main point here is that the prices are low (by today’s standards), you get a large portion and it tastes pretty good. Don’t expect a cozy experience. Service is bare min and the waiting area contains zero comfort architecture. The chicken teriyaki plate is eight bucks and feeds two, unless you’re an overeater like me ;)

But I love this Jack in the box for a couple different reasons.1) the other day when I came to pay for my food, the girl at the drive-thru let me know the people in front of me paid already for my stuff.. naturally I had to pay for the stuff for the people behind me... I thought that was nice because that could make a really big difference in somebody's day, trying to feed their kids or not having too much money.2) it's located in one of the nicest last parts of Long Beach. And it's almost not really that busy ever... They also have coupons you can use that come in the mail and you save a little bit more money4) the ladies that work the drive-thru are probably the nicest ladies I've ever met in fast food. I don't know what it is about this particular restaurant but they just seem really nice maybe it's to me I don't know... but they handle their business quickly and well, they always have a smile, and I'm happy to be there customer.So if I had to give this place a grade, it would be an A-Not at all perfect, but still excellent. “Every table is far from basic, the Kilroy location has such a beautiful scenery and Mona is definitely a people person. I love how she always greets you by name once enter the door. I love to grab my food and sit by the window to watch the water fountain <3

“This is my family's "stand-by" fast food; when we're too tired to decide on something else or to cook at home; when the cupboards are bare; when you want good food & don't want to wonder what you'll get from somewhere else; when you don't want to spend a lot of money & you don't have a "coupon" or need one; when you know their close nearby & open; when you don't want to deal with the "bitchy", "I don't care, its just a job" employees at other places; when you want fast food that you can trust-always good, quick, fresh & made just for you.

The owner & staff are great too! Always quick, professional, friendly & serving with a smile, & they remember you from the last time you were there a month ago.

The negative: Douglas Burgers' menu board is a bit overwhelming. There is a lot on it-anything you can think of for breakfast, lunch & dinner served by a fast food restaurant. It definitely needs to be revamped to make it clearer & visually appealing.

However, before straining your eyes ordering directly from the menu board, I suggest that you just skip it & take a moment to think about what you are craving at the moment or what your favorite food is (within reason of course), then let them know. Usually, if it's not already on their menu, they'll just go ahead & make it for you, & it will be pretty darn good.

Be sure to get at least a side of Douglas' Ranch dressing with your order. It tastes GREAT on everything because it IS THE BEST Ranch dressing you'll ever have! I am NOT a fan of Ranch dressing or dressings in general, but Douglas' Ranch dressing is damn good!

My "go to" meal is the Douglas Double Bacon Cheeseburger Combo, which includes a drink & a side-I usually get fries, but sometimes I get onion rings-there are a lot of other good options though). Their Steak Salad is great too! REALLY good steak in that salad, OMG! Another great option is their Chef's Salad, of course with Ranch dressing!

If you're at Douglas during breakfast & want a great breakfast burrito, Douglas makes the best (served any time, not just for breakfast)! Be sure though, to order a breakfast burrito with ham, sausage & bacon along with the egg, hashbrown & cheese. It's my favorite & it's sooo goood!

You can trust that whatever you get to eat from Douglas Burgers, it will always be good food!

An important note: When writing a review for Douglas Burgers, be sure you are writing it for the correct location. Not all locations are affiliated with one another & even if they are, they should be judged independently. It would be really crappy if someone wrote a negative review for, lets say, Douglas Burgers #3, but submitted it under Douglas Burgers #9 (this location). From the few negative reviews that I have read in the list of all reviews, in my opinion, this has already occurred. Just compare the few negative reviews to all the other reviews & I think it will be obvious to you too.

Dietary restrictions: If you are on a specific kind of strict diet, I wouldn't' go to DB to eat. The employees may not be aware of which of their menu items fit into the 'Keto' category & may not be able to guarantee that the ingredients used are 'Non-GMO' or are 'Organic', 'Vegetarian', etc. But, they have always been willing to make small changes with, & general adaptations to, anything I order, customizing it for my needs-from easy ice in my drink, to no salt or spices on my taco (that is, provided the menu item wasn't already partially cooked or prepared in some way ahead of time). They don't fuss over special requests!“

“This is your typical Del Taco restaurant with the same vibe as most. Customer service was excellent, but the cleanliness needs to be improved. My order came out fast, and it was hot and fresh. If I am back around this area and hungry for some chain-made tacos, I will return.“
