Delicious food, amazing server (Jerry), incredible ambience!
good food friendly staff
I was in town for a few days staying at the residence inn and was told by the hotel staff there to try this place for dinner. They’ve got a cool menu and really cool outdoor seating with a good view of the water. I got a Baby Gem Caesar with chicken and an iced tea. Really good. Wait staff was friendly and I enjoyed my time there. Definitely recommend!

Fuego is a beautiful restaurant inside Hotel Maya, located around Long Beach cranes and close to the Queen Mary. The ocean views are amazing, especially around sunset, and the setting alone makes it worth visiting. The restaurant has a luxury feel, with an upgraded outside and menu. Service has been described as great by some, with guests greeted as soon as they walked in and seated right away on a Tuesday afternoon. However, other experiences noted the service could be friendlier and more attentive, with one waiter described as borderline rude. The food is good and delicious; specific meals mentioned include the fuego burger, which could have been spicier, and a Chopped Cesar Salad that was served as a garden salad with no dressing. Overall, the food is okay and nicely presented, but not the main highlight compared to the ambiance. The drinks are lovely and well crafted, though some were really strong with little flavor. Parking is not free; validation costs $5, but one guest paid $45 for 3.5 hours. A 20% service fee is automatically added to the bill. Despite some disappointing experiences, many find it a relaxing and great spot for drinks and the view.
