The experience was excellent, as always, but I wish I had ordered the Street Corn instead of the empanadas.
What a true gem! I only wish it was open more! Gigi was a stellar server, and the food was well prepared and delicious. I did make a reservation on opentable at the beginning of the semester and later contacted to say that reservation was available in error, but no one responded to any subsequent messages or offered a reservation that was available. Still, I'm glad I was finally able to try LBCC Bistro.
LBCC Bakery offers tasty dishes like Ahi tartar, mango salad, short ribs, salmon, and matcha crème brûlée. The $20 pre-fixe menu provides a great opportunity to try the culinary students' creations. Meals are generally well-presented, and the service is attentive, although it may be slower at times. Some guests experienced delays with drinks and service, but others found the food absolutely delicious, highlighting the care and skill in every bite. The friendly staff and students contribute to a warm and inviting atmosphere, with hosts checking in frequently without being intrusive, showing great attention to detail and respect. The restaurant is conveniently located next to the parking structure and is easily visible from several signs. Guests can enjoy seeing the kitchen bustling with activity. The chef makes adjustments to accommodate dietary needs, such as vegan options for appetizers and desserts, ensuring everyone can enjoy their meal. Overall, LBCC Bakery aims to create a pleasant dining experience with tasty food, friendly service, and a welcoming environment.
