Stopped by here for lunch with some colleagues on our lunch break. The bread on the sandwich was excellent and the meat was very tender. will definitely be coming back to try the other sandwiches at Alotta's! Great local spot.
3/5 to average my experience with my friend's experience. My meatball sub was incredible. Had around 4ish meatballs iirc. Definitely enough meat. My friend went more recently (on a weekday, whereas I've only been on weekends - might be a different person making sandwich), and he literally got one meatball. His sub was a pathetic imitation of what I got. We had completely opposite experiences. If you win the die roll, you'll have an amazing meal. Or lose and you'll regret going....read full review

Alotta's is a little out of the way sandwich shop that focuses on freshly prepped each day food and a friendly smile and conversation. The presence of this sandwich shop is strong enough that I was recommended this place while flying into San Jose airport. I drove the 25 mins into the quiet streets of Palo Alto to taste the hype.
