“Yummy sandwiches! Been here several times, tried a few things but so far the roasted chicken plus salami combo was the best. Wouldn’t have thought to put those together in a sammy but it was hella good. Of course, had to get it with Dutch crunch bread. “

“The Mountain View Mendocino’s Farm is a popular location in a chain in the San Antonio complex where there is plenty of seating and restaurant to choose from, but we still ended up going to Mendocino Farms. The ambiance with so much seating and barely anyone there for dinner(I think it is more busy during lunch) it was the perfect spot to eat. The menu had lots of veggie options which was perfect for my vegetarian mom and the food seemed really fresh. We ordered a Guava Lemonade, Tomato Soup, Chimichurri Steak and Bacon Sandwich, and The Modern Caesar Salad!

Starting with our bev. The guava lemonade was really good. It tasted super fresh and you could even feel some guava seeds at the bottom of the drink. It was tart and refreshing and they filled our drink to the brim. The Chimichurri steak and bacon sandwich was also quality. The Chimichurri was oddly really sweet and the steak was a little tough, but the dish still tasted amazing with all of its elements( the bacon, the sauces, and the roll). The salad though I wasn’t able to try was also really good with little crunchies that were unique. It didn’t seem like anything special, but the ingredients all looked fresh and delicious. The tomato soup pasty was subpar. There was no wow factor it was just plain tomato soup. There didn’t seem to be any salt added so the soup was kind of sweet and sour which I didn’t enjoy however with some bread it tasted a lot better.

Overall, Mendocino Farms for its affordability(all of the dishes and drinks I described ended up being $45), pretty good tasting food, and great ambiance I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and hope to come again.

“Fresh Dutch crust bread sometimes I’m vegetarian with fried zucchini coins my favorite. Sweet creole onion chips and ginger ale oh two suckers blueberry gum pop and Carmel apple pop my favorite 😻“

“My family and I just recently went to Sourdough and had a great experience. The staff were very welcoming and very patient with our group. The restaurant itself was very clean. Tables were brand new with cool designs. The atmosphere was also very respectful and peaceful.

Food was also very exceptional for the price. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The meat was very tender and overall very good. Others in our group that are vegetarian were also very pleased with their meals. The Caprese sandwich and the ttomato bisque with the side of bread were very popular. The cookies though shouldn't be overlooked. They were very soft and delicious. If you come here you have to give the cookies a try.“

“This was my first time in a Specialty's after all the Bay Area stores closed right around when CoViD hit. I'm so glad the owners decided to take a chance and open a new store at this location next to the NASA base.

For anyone who used to work in the FiDi in San Francisco, this feels like coming home. The sandwiches and cookies are the same tip-top quality as I remember, and the drink selection has gotten even better.

As for the service -- outstanding. I miss the cloth bags they use to hold large orders back when I used to order breakfast for the whole office, so I asked if I could buy one; instead the cashier walked to the back and got me two new bags for free, then wished me a pleasant day. What more could I ask.

The people of Mountain View don't know how good they've got it here. Come back, Specialty's, we miss you!

Parking: The parking lot is shared with other buildings in the same office complex. Not that large to begin with.

Kid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere. Plenty of tables and space for kids to roam. Bathrooms are large and very clean.“

There were at least 4 bites of the sandwich that were almost entirely bread. Either cut the bread smaller or add more filling.“

“It was a super hot day and I had just finished a long hike up the hill, I was ravenous and was researching restaurants near me, however, I did not expect to come across this gem of a criminally under represented restaurant. The food was phenomenal and there were plenty of choices in terms of menu items, and the staff was amazing. “Was heading to Chipotle just to grab a bite and saw Lee's. I poked my head in and was all in. I got the Shrimp Bahn MI and some sesame balls from the case. Everything was incredibly fresh. The bahn mi was the best I've had since I was in southwest Asia. Flavors and seasonings were spot on. Staff was very friendly. Not a large dining area, but I was just going back to my hotel so didn't mind. Very clean. Parking is tricky, but that's true for everywhere in this shopping center. WIll def be back.

Parking: If it's between 4PM-7PM during the week just go to the parking garage and walk a block or two. It's free and it will save you all the circling and frustration. People will straight up jack a spot you're waiting for. I saw three altercations at Whole Foods over spots. Not worth it. Obviously not Lee's fault and didn't ruin my experience.“
