This is the oldest kosher bakery in LA. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their too good to go and it came with some of their chocolate iced cake donuts and a raised choco sprinkle donut. The cake donuts were super light, delicate, sweet, fluffy, and moist with a sugary frosting. Some even had some dodger blue sprinkles. Nice family-friendly café for the Jewish community. Food is great, but be aware that some items are very expensive. An 18 dollar omelet is crazy
Schwartz has at least 3-4 kinds of Challah: Egg, water, whole wheat (really excellent), 9-grain (my son's favorite) and sometimes potato bread or sourdough. They also make various kinds of Danish pastries, including a cinnamon crumb Danish, and the best babkas in town. The have a nice selection of non-dairy cookies and pastries and excellent strudel.
