Best coffee in Mar Vista and Venice area. Australians if you want a 'normal' coffee, this is the best I have found. Good, espresso-based coffee that isn't burnt or bitter or weak like a lot of other American coffee. Staff are super nice, food is yummy, beautiful big windows and skylight. Newer place in Mar Vista, very open and trendy. Great food, had burger, fries and kale salad, all was excellent. Inside and outside seating with front and back patio. Nice, cool atmosphere. Very cute place.

Blueys has great food and coffee. My husband and I often go there on the weekend for brunch. It does get crowded though and service can be pretty slow. It's nice that we can take our dog with us and sit outside. Our favorite things to order are the Bowl Formerly Known As and Squash Pancakes.Dietary restrictions: Hubby is gluten- and dairy-free and it's easy for him to eat here.
