“Everyone at Lawless is a pleasure to work with. We host a weekly game night on Mondays and they always have the best food trucks and excellent brews (seasonal and standards). You can’t beat the laid back atmosphere. DOGS are allowed which makes it an even cooler place to just come hang out, meet friends, play games, or even do work. We love LAWLESS!“

“Been trying to gatekeep this place so it doesn’t get too popular, but they deserve the recognition. There’s nowhere else in LA I can go to have a nice, relaxed time - whether it’s for a coffee during the day or a beer at night. You can go solo or with friends and feel comfortable. Extremely interesting and eccentric interior lined with foil and multicoloured lights. They have live modular synth music on Mondays and tape night on Tuesdays. My favourite beer is the Tulstice. Make sure to take a selfie in the bathroom and pick up one of their esoteric books to read while you sip on a bevvie!“

“Went to Frogtown Brewery after walking the bike path by the river. Great place to cool down. Tried the Peach and Desist and the Phantasmic Punch. Both excellent! The peach and desist was not as sour as I hoped for, but it was really fruit forward which I find is usually lacking in a fruit beer. And the Phantasmic Punch did not taste as strong as it is, which I liked. Really good. Vibe here is easygoing, and their residence cat is adorable. A must visit when heading to Frogtown“

It's okay if you can't speak English very well.

I went there twice in a few days, and the second time there was a really bad smell, but I guess it's a charm.

“Very VERY cool place. Has Cider along with beer. The Cider was so good so did not have the chance to try the beer but the cider alone was worth it albeit somewhat pricy. They have 2 cats freeroaming who are super cute and soft which makes this place a little interesting. very cute location and decor. The surrounding location can be a little rough however and can make you feel unsafe a bit especially if parking runs low and you have to park farther away. Will still be back however.“

“Found this cool spot on a late winter morning on a weekend to LA. This is what you want a coffee/breakfast spot to feel like. It says take your time we’ll be here when you’re ready, no long cues or lines, a succinct and palate friendly menu. The welcoming large communal table near the entry way with a group of patrons enjoying both the company and their coffee was reassuring and created a wonderful vibe. I had the brisket breakfast tacos, perfect, tortillas were warm, the hash browns the perfect consistency, the eggs fluffy and a beautiful co-Star to the in-house 14 hour brisket, perfectly seasoned and unctuous, the hatch chili salsa a perfect acidity and compliment to the package. “The food is amazing. Try the wings to share as an appetizer, so tasty without having to use a dipping sauce. Smash burgers are so juicy, fries were nice and crispy. Overall great first visit. A friend of mine too me for my birthday, had a great time 👍🏽“

“Great beers and wine, great food, even better staff. Truly a great spot. I went on my dog's birthday to get him a burger and the staff was so helpful. They made sure his was free from salt and onions, and ours were made the way we want. The staff is fantastic and the drinks are well curated. The fried pickles and jalapenos are great too!“

Scarlett was an absolute delight and made sure we enjoyed our time here. The vibes are perfect for an after work hang or really any time but the drink specials are especially nice during happy hour.
