“delicious, high quality bagels, toppings, and cream cheese spreads! came on a wednesday morning and there was a small line, the food itself is amazing and there is a wide variety of bagel options ranging from bagels with cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches. drinks are also available but didn’t try. it is on the pricier side with the BEC at nearly $17 without avocado… but it is in santa monica so that checks out. definitely recommend to UCLA students looking to try something new, food is great!!“

“It was even better than I remember. I had the catfish po boy, chicken & waffles. The French bread, remoulade sauce & generous seasoning of the fish were delicious. I would definitely not consider myself a grits fan but the fried cinnamon sugar grits…so good. I can definitely post photos of empty boxes but other than that ??♀️. You’re going to have to order your own. Make sure you order directly on the restaurant site www.gritznwafflez.com. Signed up with my email when I ordered & got a discount.“

“Flowering Tree is a hidden gem in Los Angeles, offering a serene escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. The owner personally roasts the coffee beans, ensuring a rich and flavorful experience in every cup. The tranquil ambiance, surrounded by lush greenery, makes it the perfect spot to unwind. The staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. This café truly feels like a little piece of paradise. Let’s keep this spot our little secret ?“

“The Coffee Company is a Hidden Gem.
I had the crab omelette and it was genuinely satisfying. Fluffy eggs, generous crab meat, and melty cheese blended so well together. The seasoned potatoes were crispy and flavorful.
The vibe is simple, but the food quietly speaks for itself. It feels like one of those places where the kitchen puts real care into what they serve. The kind of spot you remember when you want something good without the fuss.“

“Enjoyed sitting outdoors with my daughter and two granddaughters after their Kaiser appointments. I had a very tasty Turkey Club sandwich with waffle fries, while my daughter enjoyed a great omelette and her kids had mini-Belgian waffles with sprinkles. Just Perfect!!“

“Found this place randomly being that it's far from where I live. Great food (a bit pricey but these days, everything costs more), very friendly and helpful staff (met Heidi the owner and had some good conversation) and comfortable atmosphere. Be aware of their hours. 4 days a week, they're closed from 1500 to 1700 to transition from breakfast to dinner menu. The dinner menu is all Korean. Can't wait to come back again and try the dinner menu. They have both inside and outside seating. Parking is tricky, so find a spot on the street. Overall, I'm very happy with our experience here.“

“I am a long-time customer. Their specialty are bionicos: Mexican assorted fruit bowls with cream, yogurt, and your choice of toppings including shredded coconut, granola, raisins, honey, and more. I am a huge fan of their Diablito: shaved ice with tamarind and/or mango syrup, fresh mango slices, and topped with Tajin, Chamoy, and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Sweet, tangy and refreshing on a summer day or any time of the year! They also have chicharron, cueritos, chips, and ice cream. The tortas, tlayudas, and hamburgers are also excellent: and made fresh upon order, with better prices and quality than any chain burger or sandwich joint. Highly recommended!
Vegetarian options: Fruit bowls, desserts and salads are vegetarian friendly and customizable.“

“Best brunch party! I wasn’t expected to be this crazy on a Sunday afternoon. We came for a birthday and the birthday girl had a blast. I mean we all had such a good time. The food and good but the drinks are better! Get bottle service for costume “

“I really enjoyed the Nola vibes in the seating area on the side of the building. I was worried that the cajun seasoning on the tots would be spicy but it wasn't, and they were very good. I also had the chicken sliders without the hot sauce, and they were also good, but I wish they'd had more slaw on them. The Theves sweet tea was soooo good, I wish they sold it in gallon size!“

“Probably THE best eatery I've been to. Ambiance, location, food and staff all perfect The Manager was constantly checking in and welcoming people, and explained that the "reason everyone working here is happy, is because the owner is a really nice guy to work for" Says a lot about a place! All food freshly cooked, organic and REALLY tasty. We will definitely be back 10/10“

“This place was amazing! The food was delicious, the staff was so nice and welcoming. It was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back. We came on a Saturday and we're seated almost immediately.
Parking: The parking lot is a little small but we were able to find a spot pretty quickly. However I can see during peak hours how this may be an issue.
Kid-friendliness: Our server was super attentive to my 1.5 year old. She made sure we had everything we needed for him and always acknowledged him when she came to our table.“

“Went there twice during our 2 day trip. Biscuits are amazing. Maxie was our server, and she remembered us when we returned! She was very sweet, and the owner came out and chatted with us about the history of the restaurant.“
