Can't believe I only discovered this gem today..... I was lured there by the beautiful music they were playing and the vibe of their outdoor seats are divine.... Will definitely be back for more.... Bought the begnet trio and its amazing good.... Too bad we ate it so fast without taking a photo
Great atmosphere, food was delicious and workers were amazing.
First time ever trying Beignet and they were delicious. Best Gumbo Bowl i have tried so far. We also tried the trio sliders (twice)
The Rising Sun Café & Bistro is a charming spot known for its delightful brunch and outdoor seating. Guests appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, especially the shaded patio that makes dining comfortable even on warm days. The restaurant's service is friendly and attentive. The menu features popular dishes like the fried chicken sandwich, which is very juicy and has received high praise. Other highlights include the chicken & waffles and the delicious beignets. The cold brew coffee is very rich and full, and the Theves sweet tea is soooo good.
The setting is beautifully decorated with lovely plants, creating a garden-like ambiance. It is a very lowkey spot in the Arts District, away from most other restaurants. You seat yourself and order on your phone. The food is amazing and the price is decent for the portions. Many visitors are eager to return for dinner to explore more of what the restaurant has to offer.
