My boyfriend and I came here for a birthday dinner and our experience was nothing short of amazing. Everyone who works here is so kind and welcoming and we loved our server, Fillipo! This is definitely the best spot in Los Angeles for an authentic Italian cuisine, the food is delicious!
Such a great local spot to stop off for a drink and light meal. Really enjoyed myself. Also great service!
Happy hour food was terrific. Chocolate mouse and limoncello sorbet were divine!

Cesare Ristorante is a stunning, family-owned Italian restaurant in Beverly Grove that offers a fantastic and incredible dining experience. The space is warm, inviting, welcoming, and so very comfortable, creating an environment that feels both elevated and like a hidden gem. It is fine dining and expensive, and has become super popular, so making a reservation is recommended.
The food is delicious, thoughtful, and beautifully prepared with real care behind the ingredients and execution. There is nothing not to love. Standout dishes include the great lamb chops, great veal scaloppini, pasta, and salads. Appetizers like the burrata, carpaccio, meatballs, and brie pinse are delicious, as are entrees like the tagliata di carne, which is a beautiful presentation of steak. The bolognese is delicious and the Maitò penne pasta is one of the best. Even the rosemary bread and figs are great. They also have the best drinks.
The service is just great, with the best staff that go out of their way to keep you happy and comfortable. The overall experience is special, welcoming, and friendly, making it a perfect place for a team dinner, an anniversary, or introducing friends to a wonderful spot. It is that kind of place you are excited to return to, as it is one of one.
