About Chado Tea Room

Chado Tea Room offers a peaceful courtyard setting with a large selection of tea options. The ambiance in the tea room is lovely, making it a charming place for a relaxing visit. Recently, customers experienced a celebration afternoon tea that included a champagne-inspired flute of tea and a tasting of chocolates, which many found delicious. The Hawaiian Cocktail tea was outstanding, and the chocolates infused with tea were especially fun. The scone with accompaniments was excellent, with good cream and jam, though some found the sandwiches lacking in seasoning. The experience of high tea was considered very good value, especially when splitting the service between two people, which saved money. However, the bathroom was reported to be quite dirty with pieces of toilet paper on the floor, a stark contrast from the cozy dining area. The food, including Caesar salad and sandwiches, was just average, with the scones found to be too dense by some. The neighborhood may be a concern, so parking close by is recommended. Service was generally good, but the overall experience may not be worth the expense for everyone. Paid parking within walking distance is available.
