This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Little Tokyo. My best tip is to go at open for dinner when they are not as busy so you can fully enjoy yourself.
I've been coming here for years ever since my friend had her birthday celebration here, which in itself was a very lovely evening. The staff was so sweet and stored her birthday cake in the fridge while we ate and then brought it out for us lit and even provided a cake cutter.

I’ve been going to this place since it opened. It’s my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles.
I got to the point where I stopped ordering and I just tell the servers to order unique things for me.

I took two teenagers for lunch on our weekend trip to J town. We ordered lunch special items. My son ordered a salmon and ikura bowl and his friend I ordered a sushi set. The lunch items come with salad, miso soup, and side dishes, including a small serving of home made tofu.
It was enough to fill up hungry teenagers, and we enjoyed our food.
