“Budonoki is a true hidden gem. Every dish is beautifully presented, incredibly flavorful, and genuinely satisfying. The owner is warm and welcoming, and the service is thoughtful—our server even surprised us with complimentary items from the chef, all of which were outstanding.

My husband and I keep coming back and have brought clients, friends, and family, and everyone has had a great experience. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate with dim lighting, limited seating, and a relaxed vibe set to tasteful hip hop in the background.

“A Michelin recognized restaurant that’s just perfect for a quiet evening. The atmosphere is chill and the playlist vey ear pleasing and well as the decor. Modern style design that’s chic and comfortable at the same time. We ordered the Wagyu Cheeseburger and Uni Pasta. Both of the dishes were good with flavor but the Uni pasta could’ve used a little more sauce but it’s a preference I guess. The cheeseburger came out looking like a hot mess but it delivered with flavor. The Basqu Cheesecake was the dessert we ordered and it was perfect with flavor and the presentation. Service was attentive and on point most of the time. So if you’re looking for a nice place to have a delicious bite or drinks then definitely check out this place, especially the gorgeous looking bar.“

“This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Little Tokyo. My best tip is to go at open for dinner when they are not as busy so you can fully enjoy yourself.

I've been coming here for years ever since my friend had her birthday celebration here, which in itself was a very lovely evening. The staff was so sweet and stored her birthday cake in the fridge while we ate and then brought it out for us lit and even provided a cake cutter.

If you have a child, they do have booster seats and a kid friendly dish set for your child to use.

The staff is very attentive and sweet. They check in on you and are very patient with any requests or questions you may have.

My best recommendations for food are the Honey Tofu cheese, the seared duck chashu, the beef tongue tataki, the Today's Fish Carpaccio, and the Japanese omelet. All of these dishes are part of my usual go to order and what makes me bring all my friends over to try it. I usually spend about $30 for three dishes which is worth the price point for the amazing food quality. I genuinely have never had a bad experience or food I didnt love in my 5 years of eating here.“

“Izakaya Miyoung is an absolute hidden gem! We ordered the yakitori skewers, fish cake soup, and chicken wings, and let me tell you, every single bite was delicious. The portions were perfect for sharing, making it a great spot to come with friends.

Our waiter was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and spot-on with his sake recommendation, which paired beautifully with our food. The vibe here is warm and inviting, and I loved the interior design, it really adds to the whole experience.

This place is definitely going on my list of go-to spots. Can’t wait to come back, have some drinks, and try even more dishes from the menu!“

“4.5 stars. 2nd best karaage I’ve had in the city. Love the little dining rooms; and the seafood tomato pasta has no business being that good. Their highballs are also very refreshing (except for the earl grey one). The staff are attentive and kind. Their portions are generous across the board, even their spicy tuna on crispy rice and the prices are very reasonable.“

Had to order all the sauces because this spot is known for flavors must check it out its next to another good restaurant known for pho so this dumplings is a craving to go next door ill be back ! “While the ramen is quite good, try their other non-ramen offerings. Katsu curry rice is very good here (katsu pork was prepared perfectly and curry flavorful) as well as their gyudon (beef over rice). Service as fast, friendly and attentive and the dining area was very clean. Value for the meal is excellent especially for West LA! Cannot recommend enough!“

“This is a nice little cozy spot for parties of all sizes. The atmosphere is chill with super cool seevice by Min. We ordered a couple of lunch specials that satisfied our cravings. Since my party is super picky it’s good to know they offer a little bit of everything. Their Seafood Udon was very flavorful and perfect for a chilly day or any day at that. The Bento Boxes were also winners with presentation and flavor. Since the dishes were so good we also decided to try out their Seafood Udon which was nice and spicy and just right for our tastebuds. Everything we had was satisfactory and we will definitely be back to try out more of the menu. Again, a big shoutout to Min for making our experience a memorable one. So if you’re in the area and looking for a nice variety then definitely check this place out if you can.“

“I ordered kara miso ramen, bomb digity roll, baja california roll, and a beer pitcher.
The ramen was a little spicy, but it was the kind of spice I liked. The broth was rich and wasn’t too salty.

Both rolls tasted fresh. I’m pretty sensitive to fishy smells, but I didn’t notice any.
Rolls were also buy one, get one 50% off, which was a nice deal.

The beer pitcher was enough for two people.“
