Had the teriyaki burger and beef ramen, both were crazy good.
Good food. Service is average. The only thing is that it might get crowded
Myself my husband and my daughter went there because we wanted some authentic Japanese food, Little Tokyo is the place to be as there are a lot of Japanese restaurants there, but we chose sushi gala because it looked interesting and the atmosphere was inviting, the portions of food are enough to share for an entire family, and they welcome you in Japanese. The only bad part is that the drinks come in cans. Otherwise I would give this place six stars instead of five

Based on the reviews, Sushi Gala is located in Japanese Village Plaza along a busy shopping walkway, giving it a lively atmosphere with tourists. The sushi is really good with a lot of variety, and the ramen and California rolls are amazing. The beef ramen is recommended even though it is less flavorful and less greasy, while the chicken ramen has decent noodle flavor and broth. The miso broth with added spiciness was nice but more watery than expected. Service overall is okay, with constant check-ins, though some felt a bit rushed. Prices are well within reason for the quality, though some found it a bit pricey. The restaurant is kid friendly and accommodating.
