What a great spot! The menu is filled with items that are as unique as they are delicious, and the service is superb. Can't argue with a rooftop bar, either. The history of the building only makes this place that much cooler.
From the moment we stepped in until the moment we left - the service, food, and ambiance were all stupendous. Chef Blake's menu is top- notch... fresh ingredients and delicious choices. Cocktails were prepared beautifully and the music was great. For amazing food, music, cocktails - Grandmaster Recorders is the place to go!!

Absolutely fabulous! The beef tartare was superb. I had the black truffle risotto and there is nothing better than that on the menu in my personal opinion, rich, creamy, earthy, simply delicious. My mom had the crab pasta which was so complex, but the lumps of crab added such a lovely ocean flavor to every bite. Our server was incredible! She was so attentive and kind and patient with us.
